Mary Grace Pickett

PICKETT, Mary Grace, 70, of Powhatan, passed away September 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. Pickett Jr.; and is survived by her three children, Lisa Haas and her husband, Robert, Ted Pickett and Katey Tankesley; her brother, Edmond Covey; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Joe, Nick, Michelle, David, Kate and Erica. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., and where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Friends of the Powhatan Library, the National Parks Foundation, and the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation.
