Love is in the air for TWICE singer Chaeyoung and soloist Zion.T. A South Korean media outlet recently broke the news that the duo is romantically involved with each other and the two have very “positive feelings” for each other. Chaeyoung, also known by her full name Son Chae Young, joined TWICE in 2015. The nine-piece group is managed under JYP Entertainment. Zion.T, whose real name is Kim Hae-sol, entered the music industry in 2011 with his self-composed single Click Me.
JYP Entertainment issued a brief statement confirming that Chaeyoung and Zion.T are indeed in a relationship. A spokesperson from Zion.T’s label, The Black Label also issued a similar statement which read, “The two of them are currently dating with positive feelings for one another. They are supporting each other.” This surely is great news for the fans of the two vocalists, who are now eager to know everything about the couple.

Sources close to the K-pop idols revealed that the lovebirds have been dating each other for six months now. Chaeyoung and Zion.T first met through a mutual connection and shared a senior-junior dynamic initially. The relationship soon blossomed into a romantic one and their circle of friends and associates came to know about their dating status almost immediately as well.
K-pop idol, Jeon Somi, is rumoured to have played the role of Cupid in their relationship. Staying true to their authentic selves, Chaeyoung and Zion.T decided not to hide their affection and were often spotted going on dates in the Gangbuk-gu district and other popular spots like Hannam-dong and Yeonhui-dong. The couple also treasures late-night scenic walks and frequently opts to take romantic strolls in the Kangbuk area of Seoul.
The huge age difference
The couple has an age gap of 10 years. While Chaeyoung is 24 years old, Zion.T is 34. Korean media reports that the TWICE singer has always desired slender and artistic individuals and Zion seems to fit the bill perfectly. Chaeyoung was drawn to his free-spirited and creative personality, which helped the relationship to blossom fruitfully.

The soloist did not waste a lot of time and started following the TWICE singer on Instagram after their relationship became public knowledge. However, Chaeyoung still maintains her streak of following no accounts on Instagram.
