Enjoy a slow ride upstairs on the tram to get a nice flavour of the hustle and bustle that is Hong Kong island.

I used the trams a lot in HK, not as a tourist destination, but just to get off my feet for a while. They are cheap and prevelant crossing the island from west to east. Can easily hop on anywhere and cost about 3 HKD for however long you're on. With an Octopus card you don't have to think about it. Since all trams essentially take the same path (exception is at the end of the line as some turn to Happy Valley), you don't have to study maps to see where you'll go.

Note that they are not air conditioned and you enter at the back and pay when you leave in the front.

They go practically every 2 minutes and if you enjoy trams, you´ll love the ambience of these great classics. Go to one end of the line to the other for a couple of dollars - CORRECT CHANGE ONLY - Do not get on if you have a large bill!!!! The drivers are the worst in terms of not caring.

Often seen this in TVB drama or HK movies. First time taking a ride. Good experience. Can enjoy the view of HK.

Plenty of tramways in the world but the Hong Kong double decker tram is such a fun experience! Just remember to get coins so you can pay the fare.
