Easy to take the train.

Regular departures Prague's main station to Linz, from €9 if you pre-book at http://www.cd.cz Czech Railways.

Then frequent trains Linz to Passau from €9 booked at Austrian Railways http://www.oebb.at - or €17.50 by Regional Express even bought on the day.

The train certainly will not save you any time..in fact, it adds up to 2 or more hours to the travel....not to mention changing trains at least 2 times

tejashombre - I looked up RegioJet's site but cannot find a bus stop in Passau from the drop down selection. The closest bus stop is in REgensburg which is 1.5 ours away. Am I looking at the wrong place?

We are 4 passengers who will be travelling from Prague to Passau in early July 2019 to board a cruise ship.

Any advice from destination experts will be much appreciated!

Otherwise, consider a private transfer. Friends from US arrive today and are doing the Passau debarkment on Sunday. They have elected one of these.
