Vintage Patek Philippe specialist Collectability strengthens its commercial team

Kelly Yoch joins New Jersey-based pre-owned Patek Philippe firm as personal curator for some of the world's pre-eminent collectors.

Pre-owned Patek Philippe specialist, Collectability, has announced that Kelly Yoch has joined the company as personal curator.

Ms Yoch brings deep experience in the luxury watch retail sector, having been given her first introduction at Hamilton’s Princeton, NJ, flagship before moving to Tourneau (now Bucherer) and later Saks 5th Avenue.

She started her journey of discovery with Patek Philippe at Hamilton, but developed deeper appreciation and knowledge at Tiffany & Co., where she ran the Patek Philippe Salon at the New York flagship on 5th Avenue for over 12 years.

Patek Philippe is the only watch brand sold by Tiffany’s so, when the opportunity came up at Watches of Switzerland to broaden her experience with a role as director of client relations, she jumped at it and became a trusted advisor to many of the world’s most important watch clients.

“The freedom that Watches of Switzerland gave me to grow was extraordinary,” Ms Yoch recalls. “I enjoyed my time there so much, but now it is time for the culmination of my career and to dedicate my time to the brand I know best.”

Collectability was founded in 2019 by John Reardon, a veteran of the vintage watch industry who held the most senior roles at auctioneers including  Sotheby’s and Christie’s.

He is considered one of the world’s foremost experts on Patek Philippe, having written three books on the brand.

Hiring Ms Yoch is a signal of Collectability’s intent to be more commercial. “We are very excited that Kelly has joined our Collectability team. Her extraordinary sales experience and ability to offer our clients best-in-class advice and service will stimulate our business and we look forward to growing Collectability together,” Mr Reardon says.
