Post-Crescent to offer Saturday e-Edition, end Saturday home delivery
LOCAL

Subscriber reminder: No print paper delivery on Saturdays. Take advantage of our expanded e-Edition for even more news and sports

The Post-Crescent

APPLETON - A reminder for Post-Crescent subscribers: We will not be delivering a print edition on Saturday. This is the first week of the change in print delivery frequency we announced in January.

However, subscribers can find a full digital edition of the newspaper Saturday at postcrescent.com, filled with local news, advertising and features such as comics and puzzles. The new model means subscribers will get newspapers delivered to their home six days a week, with a digital newspaper available every day of the week.

In the meantime, we want to call to your attention some improvements and new features added to the digital e-Edition that gives you access to even more news and sports:

►UNIVERSAL E-EDITION ACCESS: Subscribers can now access more than 200 USA TODAY Network publications through their e-Editions. Simply go to your e-edition (postcrescent.com/eedition) and select the Universal icon on the right rail. From there, you can choose a publication to read. This access is available through the desktop or e-Edition app for smartphones and tablets. As a reminder, the electronic edition of USA TODAY is also available every day as a bonus section.

►NEW NATIONAL SECTIONS: New to the e-Edition are two daily sections –– Nation & World Extra and Sports Extra. This content will be inserted into the e-Edition pages but can also be found in the Bonus section. News in these sections will not be found in the corresponding day’s printed newspaper due to the lateness of the news and print deadlines. Nation & World Extra is now appearing with every morning's e-Edition, and Sports Extra, the companion section with late sports scores and agate.

►SHARE YOUR DIGITAL ACCESS: As a subscriber, you can share your subscription with a friend or family member. They will receive their own login and can access it as long as you remain a subscriber. Go to account.postcrescent.com and make sure you are logged in (in the top right corner, you should see a button labeled "Hi *your name*” if you are already logged in. If not, click on the button for “Sign In.”). Next, select your name and go to “Manage Account." In the left-hand menu, look for “Share digital subscription." Click on that and enter in the name and email address of the person to share access. An email will be sent to their inbox with further instructions on setting up their own credentials.

In addition, beginning Saturday your favorite puzzles, advice and horoscopes will have a new home in the "entertainment center" to keep them in one place and with a new easy-to-read format. The daily TV grid is being replaced by a new What to Watch feature, highlighting the best viewing options of the day.

How do I access online content?

All print subscribers have full digital access, meaning they have the ability to read news updates throughout the day, subscriber-only stories and video and audio features, among other benefits. Subscribers also have 24/7 access to obituaries, legal notices, and classifieds on our website.
