Lizzy Caplan and Tom Riley Are Married!

Lizzy Caplan and Tom Riley have officially tied the knot! The Mean Girls actress and the actor/producer got married in Italy over Labor Day weekend.

"This one seems fertile. She shall make a satisfactory first wife," Riley kidded on Monday. The caption came with an Instagram of the couple laughing with guests on their wedding day. Caplan wore a wedding dress with long sleeves, a pretty crown, and a loose updo, complete with a middle part. Riley dressed up in classic menswear, with the addition of a unique, patterned tie. The newlyweds were photographed sitting on the ground with four attendees lightheartedly posing behind them.

According to various sources, the couple wed in the Ravello, a town on the romantic Amalfi Coast. A report from a local news source shared that the wedding was held at Villa Cimbrone, and that the event extended over multiple days. The paper also claimed that there were around 100 guests, and that celebrities like Octavia Spencer and Chris Hemsworth were in attendance.

According to E! News, the pair got engaged while in New York City in 2016. This June, Riley wished Caplan a happy birthday with a sweet post on social media. "Happy Birthday to my forever mancrush Monday," he wrote. "A girl whose fake laugh game humbles and inspires me. She was truly miserable in this picture but you would NEVER KNOW and it's that kind of ability to suppress emotion that will serve us well in our life together," he joked.
