With a slightly higher rating is the original Thor movie, which saw Tom Hiddleston make his first appearance in the MCU with the iconic Loki character. The performance as the movies villain and Thor's brother was incredible and helped make him one of the most memorable villains in Marvel history.

Hiddleston made Loki both likeable, relatable, and detestable at the same time, which is an incredible quality to his acting. While he doesn't quite get as much focus here as he does in later MCU movies, Loki is a scene-stealer every time he appears.

The Avengers (8.0)

Loki in The Avengers

One of the major criticisms of the incredibly popular MCU is the lack of quality in the villain's department. While all of the heroes are fleshed out in great detail and given their own distinct personalities, many of the villains feel very bland and nowhere near threatening enough.

He was scary, yet charming, and made everyone believe he could actually defeat the iconic group.

Tom Hiddleston's appearance in Avengers: Infinity War is brief but impactful. By this stage in the MCU saga, Loki had officially become a hero, mainly due to how popular he was with the fans due to Hiddleston's performances. Which is why his death at the start of the film was such a tragic way to kick things off.
