New Set Photos From Marvel's LOKI Series Feature Tom Hiddleston and a First Look at Lady Loki
Some photos from the set of Marvel’s Loki series have surfaced, and in them we see Tom Hiddleston sporting a suit. There’s also a photo that features Sophia Di Martino, who was initially said to be cast as a female incarnation of Loki. You definitely get a glimpse of her costume, which is similar to what we’ve seen Loki wear.
There was a story arc in the comics that featured a female version of Loki. It was in 2009’s The Mighty Avengers. In that story, Loki was reborn as a woman, and in that state used the opportunity to manipulate the heroes by posing as the Scarlet Witch and ended up forming her own team of Avengers as part of the "Dark Reign" storyline. We have no idea how this Lady Loki will be utilized in this series.
Loki follows the adventures of Loki after having escaped with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. According to reports, he will be traveling through different periods of time while affecting some important moments of history. The show will also tie in with the series WandaVision in some way as well as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
We don’t have any story details for the show, but Loki is currently set to debut on Disney+ in the spring of 2021.
