Capital One’s The Match series is back this week, as Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will face off against Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen Wednesday in an all-quarterback showdown at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. The 12-hole event can be viewed on TNT starting at 6:30 p.m. ET.

These aren’t just four of the very best QBs in the NFL right now. They’re also four of the richest. Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, and Allen are currently four of the eight highest-paid players in the NFL for the 2022 season, but which one has the highest net worth?

Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, and Josh Allen will make a combined $150 million next season

You could make the argument The Match VI features the four best quarterbacks in the NFL. All four ranked inside the top seven last season in passing touchdowns, and they’re all on pace to eventually be named Pro Football Hall of Famers.

Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, and Allen also figure to be four of the top eight highest-paid players in the NFL next season. Allen actually leads the way in that regard, as he’s scheduled to earn $46.96 million in 2022-23. Matthew Stafford is currently the only player set to make more than the Buffalo Bills gunslinger.

Rodgers is just behind Allen with his $42 million salary, Brady is next at $30 million, and Mahomes rounds out the group at $29.45 million. That’s nearly $150 million between the four superstars in salary alone. The combined earnings figure explodes if you add in their many endorsements and investments.

But only one QB can hold the title of the richest competitor in The Match VI.

Tom Brady has the highest net worth in The Match VI

No surprises here. Tom Brady, who’s made more than $300 million in on-field earnings alone throughout his lengthy career, has the highest net worth in The Match VI at $250 million. Rodgers, his playing partner, isn’t far behind with a $200 million net worth of his own.

Mahomes and Allen are still just 26 years old, so they understandably don’t come very close to the two veterans in terms of net worth. Mahomes’ net worth currently stands at $40 million, while Allen’s is the lowest of the bunch at $14 million. Those numbers will only rise in the coming years, though, as Mahomes signed a $450 million contract a few years ago, and Allen recently signed a $258 million deal.

It’s possible Mahomes and Allen will eventually be able to catch their older counterparts as the salary cap continues to rise, but for now, Brady is still the king.
