Merged with Toyoko Eiga Co., Ltd. and Oizumi Eiga Co., Ltd. and changed the trade name to Toei Co., Ltd. The new company was established with the Tokyo Studios, Kyoto Studios, and 5 theaters under its umbrella, adding film production, film import/export, and various entertainment activities to its business objectives. Hiroshi Okawa was appointed as the first president.
