Todd Banks Wilson, 46 years young at heart, passed away on July 5, 2021. He went from the adoring arms of his family to the everlasting arms of God. He lived a vibrant life of deep faith, love for family, joy in friendships, and appreciation of his many blessings. Todd will be remembered for his passionate personality, sense of humor, selflessness, as a caring friend to many, and the endearing nicknames he created for family.

Todd was born on March 7th, 1975, to Paul Banks and Lynda in Dallas, Texas. Todd was the second of three children and was hardly the proverbial peace-making middle child. He loved to create excitement wherever he was. Todd attended Red Oak High School where he excelled in football and baseball. He played football at Stephen F. Austin University where he dedicated himself to the sport for 2 years. He pledged Theta Chi his sophomore year and found the brotherhood bond for life with many football and fraternity brothers. If one thing is for sure, Todd was never short of friends. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and began his adult life searching for a career that best fit his personality and his desires to accomplish big things. As a young adult the fitness world made sense to him. After some time, he began to realize that a career as a Mortgage Loan Officer was more fitting. He loved to help people establish themselves in their dream home.

A love for adventure, reading, and travel were evident in Todd’s remarkable life. While in grade school he skied in the French Alps and maintained his love of the sport throughout life. Todd was always methodically learning to improve himself through books and mentorship evident by the always present, inspiring and noteworthy business or self-improvement book on his coffee table. If Todd was nowhere to be found, you can bet he was at the family beach house on Ono Island, in the mountains skiing, or supporting his nieces and nephews at their sporting events.

Sports were always a focus in Todd’s life. He loved to play football, baseball, snow ski, water ski, hunt, and fish. He was an avid fan of all sports. He studied box scores and knew every fact about every player of every sport. He worked out religiously and trained as if he were trying out for the Olympics. What a marvelous example to many.

Through all of Todd’s accomplishments, activities and responsibilities, his family always came first. Todd was the son of Paul and Lynda Wilson, the brother to Kevin Wilson and his wife Emily, and Jodi Wilson Johnston and her husband Jake, the Uncle to Banks, Luke, Mary, Emma and Ellery, the fiancée of Mackenzie Bailey, and the best friend to many. Todd is preceded in death by his grandparents Banks and Zeta Wilson, and James Ferguson and Ora (Bobbye) Davis.

WE LOVE YOU BaBhaa.
