Help with Royal Mail postboxes
We have over 115,000 postboxes and 98.3% of all addresses in the UK are less than half a mile from a postbox.
Painting the postboxes
We want to keep all our postboxes looking smart, so we continually paint them on a cycle. They're each re-painted every five years.
Moving and removing postboxes
From time to time we might need to move or remove a postbox. This could be because it's not safe for our postmen or women to reach, it might not be secure, or it's been damaged. If we plan to do this, we always try to give four weeks' notice.
