Thorium Mod

Description

After a long-anticipated wait, the Thorium Mod is now available on the Steam Workshop! The Thorium Mod is a "Vanilla+" content pack that adds a massive variety of new items, weapons, armors, NPCs, bosses, and even 3 new classes into the vast world of Terraria!

With magnificent sprites from BrutalLama, AdipemDragon, Barometz, BluNinja, and many others, as well as crisp code from direwolf420 and DarkLight, we hope everyone enjoys the Thorium Mod as much as—if not more than—the base game!

Current Version: 1.7.1.6
  • Port to 1.4.4 versions of Terraria + tModLoader!
  • Additions and changes to the mod in the scope of the Labor of Love update!
  • Many item changes, balancing, and bug fixes!

ℹ️ Make sure you're on the stable version of 1.4.4 or on the 1.4.3-legacy version. It won't work on the preview version!

ℹ️ Having issues installing Thorium, or encountering bugs when playing? Be sure to read the Technical FAQ & Known Issues thread!

Full changelog: https://thoriummod.wiki.gg/wiki/1.7.1.6

  • 2,700+ new items
  • 3 new classes: the Thrower, Healer, and Bard
  • 2 new biomes: the Aquatic Depths, and natural Graveyard
  • 11 new bosses and 3 new mini-bosses
  • 10 new Town NPCs

The Thrower class expands on the now-removed damage type from vanilla Terraria, transforming it into a full-fledged class based around high damage and high mobility.

After setting a Technique with a Technique Scroll and building up enough Technique Points, activate your Technique for a special offensive, defense, or mobility-based ability! Stay on your feet, and don't exhaust yourself!

The Healer, a special multiplayer-focused class, supports allies with gear that can heal and buff, whilst still being able to dish out damage when in a pickle.

The Bard delivers a show with various instruments as weapons that both deal powerful burst damage, as well as granting various buffs to nearby allies.

@Hian Gomes: You need to definitely get an armor set, and accessories, especially those that provide bonus healing, then it will ramp up. Don't forget to max out your mana and keep close to your allies, and so should they, a little cooperation goes a long way.

Is healing really useless? i don't ssem to make it work in anyway

@NotSaneAshley: Read the wiki entry about Sheaths, and the FAQ in the Discussions tab, it covers cross-mod incompatibilities and behavior

Me when the sheath decides not to work ("well-made" mod)

Just discovered that the Infinity Gauntlet (different name in the mod) and the Infinity Stones (different name in the mod) are collectible, but I have no idea how. Recipe Browser shows nothing, other than the recipe. Do I have to grind for them, scour the world for them, or does the wiki say somewhere?
10 out of 10 my mod's favorite part is the transformations they're really unique and i hope it can turn it into its own thing with a soul link which upgrades

@Jarv3n: You are using an outdated wiki. use the wiki in the mod description

i was wondering if the terra bow and hemorrhage bows actually exist? or if they just exist in the wiki?
