I love this store so much! If you are a Jack White fan it is nirvana. Could have stayed a long time but just stopped in with my whole extended family. Rocked out with my kid in the listening room after a nice worker helped me with the turntable controls. You can sing and press your own vinyl single but the booth was out of order. The merch is all White Stripes memorabilia. Hoping to come back for a pressing tour someday soon.

I was so excited when this place opened up. Multiple free events at first, now this is just another cash grab taking advantage of Midtown's booming popularity. If you're into overpriced exclusives and claustrophobic cluster fucks labeled as events then this is the place for you. Employees are very nice and kind but the doorman during events is a dick. Detroit deserves better from Jack White.
Cool place to visit for tourists. - 6411091061/26/2019
Loved this place. Got some sweet TMR swag. Wanted to get more but just couldn't decide so I'll order online. There's a cool booth to record your own voice or song for $20. If I had a voice worth hearing I would have done that too.

It's pretty cool inside... the staff is friendly and the pressing factory is pretty cool.

Sweeet record store. Love seeing how they make the vinyls right in the store.
Thanks Jack White!! - Sabrina B.Hazel Park, MI60813512/30/2015
I visited this store with a friend yesterday and i'm blown away with how cool this place is. You can tell JW put a lot of heart and soul into it; the attention to detail is impeccable.
There are 45's here, t shirts, bookbags, music equipment (want to pick up that turntable!), a recording booth, a listening booth and a soon to come pressing plant.
Seriously, if you have some time, check it out! - Leigh A.Milwaukee, WI1547402999/22/2018
This is Jack White's Store. Mostly Jack White items and vinyl from artists in his label. There are live music events held here. Staff members were friendly. I found this place a little underwhelming. If you're a fan, stop in. Otherwise there are better record shops in the area.

This place is magical. Jack White and company really did this right and dressed it head to toe in his style. I didn't get to go in the pressing plant, but all the decor in the shop was so impressive. Really puts you in a different time and world. Will go back when I get to Detroit again

Went to Third Man Records to pick up their exclusive Bob Seger album on World Record Day. It wasn't too crowded, but it was definitely busy. The decor and layout of the building is phenomenal. My album was very reasonably priced ($15) and I was able to get in and out rather quickly.
It was fun to be able to peek into the record pressing plant (you can also take a guided tour for $20). Lots of options to check out. Definitely worth the visit.
Parking is the only issue I have with this location. There are a lot of paid lots ($7) surrounding, as well as street parking - but those were packed on the day we came (naturally). - Jay T.Irvine, CA1394579711/16/2018
Tagged along because my sister in law is a huge Jack White fan, but there's barely anything here (one small room with a few shirts and vinyl records, a small stage, and a record production line in the back), and, to top it off, the bathroom was janky. Not filthy, but the soap dispenser was broken so I had to pour soap out from it.
