Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Hayley T12 contributionsLovely place and lots to do with the kids, I’d have rated this trip 5* but unfortunately one of your staff members which I can only identify as moaning mertal let you down. I don’t think shouting over a microphone at my family for paying the lonely raven a bit of attention was necessary. It’s a double barred cage so I doubt my fingers would have suffered much damage. Also the walk through the lemurs was just as uncomfortable with moaning mertal and her megaphone. You can’t touch them but advised to knock them off your shoulder? Maybe don’t allow customers to walk into the enclosure if you’re going to get the hump about it. Lastly those wings are ridiculous and add to the moaning mertal name. What a jobsworth. Pack it in.Written 25 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- MrsASheffield, UK48 contributionsWe have visited a few times with our 4year old and 18month old both love it. Enjoyable visit and good value for money with the ticket lasting a year. The highlight for our kids is the outdoor area with the ambulance/boat/fire engines - would recommend to families with young children.
The solly Street ncp is close for parking and not too expensive.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Lots of areas to explore - art gallery, bear pit, pavilion and general walking around taking in the sights and smellsWritten 4 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - UKSnorkellerUnited Kingdom576 contributionsI was gifted an Alpaca walk voucher for my birthday. I wasn’t sure what to expect but need not have worried. All the volunteers were helpful and explained everything we needed to know so well. They clearly love and look after the animals so well and understand all their different characters. We had an introduction talk and they we were paired with the alpaca( and 1 llama) that we would be walking. I walked with Griffin who was gorgeous, very well behaved and liked to rub himself along the trees and hedges. We were given food to offer the animals along the way and had a few stops to do this and take photos. The walk is through woodland so steep and uneven in places. The volunteers kept everyone safe on the short distances we had to cross lanes. I’d really recommend the experience, life affirming and so special to spend time with these gentle creatures.Written 23 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 50MillSwadlincote, UK9 contributionsExcellent few hours. Free parking. Having just moved to the area learnt a lot about Sheffield history. Exhibits from the large to small well presented and lots of them. To me a positive that there are few videos and other gimmicks to distract.Written 22 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Simon S3 contributionsThe snooker should never EVER be taken away from this place..... it is the home of snooker and the likes of o'sullivan should be barred from setting foot in there againWritten 11 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - N DLincolnshire, UK1,385 contributionsIt’s an interesting walkthrough in the way to the Crucible. It will take less than 5 minutes to walk through. Worth a small diversion if you’re in the area.Written 18 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- BraindamagedbaronNewark-on-Trent, UK931 contributionsLoads of parking, masses of shops, welcome to Meadowhall in Sheffield.
It's a shopping centre, what do you expect? The centre is set out well, plenty of room to move around, even on the busiest of days. If you can get there during the week, it is preferable. The weekends can get very busy indeed, particularly at Christmas.
The food hall is large and offers all the usual outlets, with plenty of seating for you to rest your legs during your expedition.
The 'Everything under one roof' mantra fits Meadowhall very nicely indeed as all your High Streets shopping needs are certainly catered for without the threat of rain.

Lovely atmosphere will be a lot nicer when the cafe is finished. Easter bunny was there for Easter Sunday to do an egg hunt.Written 1 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben RDitchling, UK207 contributionsWe had an excellent Easter walk here and enjoyed exploring the woodland on our way up to the boundary with the Peak District. A very pleasant walk and well worth a visit. We parked by the park at the bottom of the trail.
The terrain is quite challenging and steep and so it is best to be prepared. Can be slippery when it rains.Written 31 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
