Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I didn’t realize how much there was to do here so we didn’t stay for long. This is a living museum and they show you how they do the various crafts and even have other events like falconry or ax throwing. I wish we could have stayed longer but we couldn’t. I would probably say that it would be good to spend about 1.5 hours here. It is not easy to get to the roads are narrow. You get on a free shuttle from the parking lot to get to the sight. I don’t know the other way that some other visitors used.

Don’t miss out on this treasure! Beautiful grounds, beautiful home and so unexpected. This beautiful three story mansion is a do not miss if you are anywhere in the Richmond/Lexington Ky area. We were the only visitors for the first tour of the day and had the full attention of our guide Stephanie. She was awesome and very knowledgeable of the home, it’s history and the furnishings. We were not expecting such a beautiful home on the inside and to find out that it had once been in such a terrible state before it was restored was mind blowing.

The building is in the middle of the battlefield. There are two floors of information along with a video. A must see if you are on a Civil War trip. The gentleman upstairs was very helpful and knowledgable,

Great small town pumpkin patch! Not huge but everything you need when visiting pumpkin patch. Good places for pictures and places for kids to play. Some animals and food to purchase as well.

I’ve seen the negative reviews, but I thought this place was great! Lots of crafts and old stuff to look at, and it went on forever. Overall good experience!

We went to see Three Dog Night at EKU performing arts center in richmond ky. It was wonderful !!! Saw them before at the center and this rated right up there. There is not a bad seat in the place. The concert was most of their hits with a newer song added. They have a fun and enjoyable show. I feel lucky to have the venue and be able to see top notch performers. Enjoyable all the way around !

The raac building held its reopening. I was totally amazed at the amount of work and attention to detail that went into the process ! Raac was nice before but this is sooo updated and ready for events. Come see for yourself or better yet join an art class ! All levels of artists welcome. We have learned so much and thoroughly enjoy the time spent . It is like spending time with a friend. The time goes quickly by, leaving you anxious for next week. It is an enjoyable way to try a new pass time.

Stopped here on our way to Gatlinburg. We had 7 adults and 7 kids. This place is super nice inside. We were afraid they wouldn’t allow our kids inside but were very accommodating. The staff working here were very nice. They told us if they aren’t open to still come and knock on the door and would let us in. We wish we could have stayed and kept talking. The wine was great and the price was even better. We felt the wine should have been priced higher but glad it wasn’t. We definitely will be back.

The battlefield park was really interesting to see where and walk where the battle happened there was a short .6 mile loop or if you do both its 2 miles with signs explaining what happend the cemetery was neat the only reason we give it a 4 star was cause we did the self driving tour and and we couldn't find things like we should have and just got frustrated next time we would just get a regular tour if available but the sites we saw was neat but we didn't see cemetery on tour which is a bummer but the cemetery at the battlefield was neat
