What travelers are saying
- nowpackingDallas, TX2,652 contributionsNice parking lot and walk to lighthouse. You buy the tickets in the gift shop before you enter. The staff tried to time the going up and down to avoid crowding on the stairs.
Beautiful views but not amazing.
The area around the lighthouse is beautifully landscaped. There is a trail down to a dock that probably had a nice view but we skipped it due to rain.Written April 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TntpaigeReading, PA98 contributionsVisited during Spring Training. The food options outside of the regular ballpark items include tacos, Cuban sandwiches and BBQ. - Nora B5 contributionsMy friend and I went this past weekend on vacation and it was our first time here. Parking is free but get there early. The water is a beautiful turquoise color. The water was slightly cool but felt wonderful once you get in. I only went out waist deep even though the waves were smaller. We had the best time we ended up going there again the day before we left to go home.Written April 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sonia LWenonah, NJ1 contributionClean and beautiful scenery but water in swimming area was not very clear. I recommend as for family picnic and to arrive very early due to heavy traffic.cement benches around site are very convenient to just sit and enjoy the views.Written September 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelisHeavenAtlanta Ga176 contributionsGorgeous beach with plenty places for dogs to run. Everyone is very friendly here. Ignore the sourpuss people who clearly don’t like dogs and write reviews about a dog beach. They could just go up the street to juno beach if they wanted to avoid dogs. I suppose it’s easier to write a bad review than walk 1/8 of a mile!! hahahah. The sand here is sort of sticky so be prepared to wash your dog on the way out. Showers are plentiful but some dog shampoo will make it easier to get the sand off. This beach is glorious for all! - Michael CJupiter, FL1 contributionWe live close by and walk to the beach through the Dubois park frequently . I guess the "river" people are referring to is actually the Jupiter Inlet . The DIRTY " beach is actually seaweed washed up from the ocean . It's not dirty , with trash and garbage . It's a natural thins that happens occasionally , this year it's all over the coastline and can't be disturbed because of the turtle hatchlings. The steep drop to the water is due to erosion , can't help that . They moved the actual inlet years ago and the ocean want's to go back to it's original path. I just walked up to Dubois an hour ago it is full to capacity , as it is most seasonal weekends . So it must be popular , right ? That's why we live here. OH, there's a tidal pool where we take our grandchildren in the park . Nothing like it , anywhere .Written May 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
