- Wendy0704Australia119 contributionsThe perfect spot to soak in the atmosphere of Fukuoka. Lots of locals jogging and strolling plus of course tourists like us enjoying the park’s atmosphere.
We visited the Art Museum and Japanese Gardens as well - a lovely way to spend part of a weekend in this pleasant city.Written December 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Families with young children were attending the religious event and a lot of locals and visitors were paying their respects.
We washed our hands in the purification fountain, and we “tried” our future with the “omikuji” the little fortune white papers in many languages, for a few yen. After we read them we folded them in the near by tree.Written January 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - krastien iJakarta, Indonesia120 contributionsWent there on Apr 8, 2024 when it was a rainy day. We hope we can see the beautiful combination of cherry trees and baby blue eyes (nemophila). We got lost because we followed a group of people out of the train station to the right (to Marine Park). There are no signs in English. Using google maps didn't help. So we decide to go back towards to the station and take the left side of the station. It turns out that this is the correct park. Entrance fee is ¥450/person. Bike rental place in a building not far from the payment machine counter. The officer advised not to rent a bike because there would be more rain. Just walk. We passed the rows of cherry trees, playground, tulip park, until the main lawn. Beautiful, although not as beautiful as when the weather is sunny. Take a leisurely walk to the main lawn with a stop for a few photos for about 30 minutes. We got lost few more times in the park as there is not enough signage to the main lawn. Spend at least 2 hours here. Worth a visit if you like walking to enjoy nature Not crowded and fresh air.Written April 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DennisSingapore, Singapore5 contributionsAttended the Blackpink 2020 concert here. Entrance was hassle free. Dome was huge. Everything was good except when during exit, whereas those in the arena section has to wait for a long time to exit due to the bottleneck created,Written February 28, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas J3 contributionsA must see for anybody in Fukuoka. Architecturally speaking the tower is very pretty with the metal struts and glass body making a reflective framework inside the tower which makes for pretty pictures.Written June 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I enjoyed the dolphins and sea lions show.
The stage with Hakata Bay in the background is magnificent and the wind is pleasant.
The jump of dolphins and whales were spectacular. I was splashed with water, so if you don't want to get wet, the seats at the back are safe.
It was strange that the swaying Chinese eels all moved in the same direction.
I was able to see the Mutsugoro that lives in the waters of Kyushu ocean , and was impressed by the beauty of the squid.
Lilo the sea otter was also cute.
I went on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded

There's a field with early and late blooming cosmoses, both were in bloom on 1st November 2021. The lawns are great for relaxing and having a picnic. Admission is very expensive for a park-1200 yen, and the bus from the ferry terminal costs 240 yen one way, plus the ferry from Fukuoka to Nokonoshima is 260 yen one way, so it adds up. There's a great sunset view from the park though, and the whole area is at the highest point on the island, so you get many great photo spots in almost all directions.Written November 1, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
