- Wanda HMascoutah, IL245 contributionsNot the kind of museum that has lots of cases with things in them, and you read the description underneath. This place has a huge variety of exhibitions that draw you in in different ways. Loaded with VERY interesting information!Written 11 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Fearless090333675572 contributionsWe knew the inside tours were closed due to construction, but went anyway. The outside tour with Jerry was very informative and glad we did that. I wasn’t sure the tour of the grounds would be good but Jerry kept it interesting. A must see if you are in the areaWritten 24 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brenda MBrooklyn, WI4 contributionsPerfect place to meet my best friend. Daisy Consignment shop is packed with high quality items! The Cafe has gluten free and vegetarian options. Great natural sustainable soap shop, plus vintage/antique shops. Tied in with the Museum’s Old World Christmas.Written 6 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jessica MIowa City, IA2 contributionsIt was cold out so I decided to take my daughter to the art museum for the first time. Its been awhile for me however they did have lots of new exhibits. - Mary Beth's Midwest AdventuresCedar Rapids, IA35 contributionsWe rented snowshoes and went snowshoeing. Reasonably priced rentals, the staff spent time explaining how to use them and put them on. We really enjoyed snowshoeing on the trails and exploring.
I did a YouTube review of this experience which you can watch on my channel Mary Beth's Midwest Adventures. There are also many other videos of fun things to do and places to eat in Iowa as well! Hope you find it helpful!Written 31 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pam SDes Moines, IA55 contributionsWe went to Cedar Rapids on Saturday and stopped by here. Due to COVID there weren't as many vendors that have been there in the past. It was still fun to wander around and I happened upon a merchant that I had received a gift from and so I was happy to make a purchase from her.Written 17 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Richard E14 contributionsStarting with a good movie providing the overview of Grant Wood's life, the tour of the studio is interesting and shocking. He, along with his sister and mother, lived in this small space for almost a decade! He was such an innovative and creative man - amazing!Written 27 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tommy599Two Rivers, WI822 contributionsWe went out on our own walking tour of the town and river frontage. There are many eateries and drinking establishments supported with parking garages but (in the area we walked around) very few stores / shops. All over the town the wonderful smell in the air from the Quaker Oats facility (oven factory) was quite enjoyable.Written 1 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mary W12 contributionsOur group had a tour of the award winning library, built after the flood of 2008 that destroyed all the adult and reference books, but spared kids books. Lot of innovative ideas in the library including a green roof and automated book sorting. Award winner.Written 12 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- KSTraveler169Manhattan, KS68 contributionsEven on a cloudy day this was an amazing view of the city, of downtown Cedar Rapids. It's a short hike, easy to do. Smells a bit, that's the ambiance. There's so much history to learn about the city and its settlers. The view at the the top is worth the climb. Take your kids, take the family. It's a fun adventure, near the Czech & Slavic Museum. Great restaurants nearby.Written 7 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
