- MelindaNAuburn, CA577 contributionsBeautiful. I went on a Saturday morning and was early enough (9 or 10ish?) that it wasn't too crowded yet. There's a path for bikes and one for walking, which I took. A couple of homeless people, but not many and as a single woman walking alone I felt safe. From there I went to the farmer's market, which was great! Then on to Pearl street. By then it was crowded and too busy for me. Highly recommend! We parked on the shoulder of the highway well back from the parking area. The walk along the highway was rather dangerous. The trail to the falls was very crowded, but easily negotiated. The falls were not more or less impressive than other mountain waterfalls I have seen, but they are more accessible than most. If you like sours the Electric Sunshine was quite refreshing on a warm afternoon. The Veggie Tacos with pulled chicken was a large serving with roasted zucchini, squash, broccoli and kale.
