Dumbfounded that the audience score for this movie is so low. This is a slow-burning, psychological horror film, permeated by an aura of dread, until the final act, when the viewer questions if it's dread, or revelation. Possibly my favorite film of 2015.

Complete waste of thy time. Artistic French cinema rubbish. Thou doesn't understand why thy so highly rated. Thy pacing was awful and thy ending so unsatisfying. Thy wanted to love this movie but literally noutst happened.

It chilled me in ways I am not even sure I was meant to be chilled. The language was very historically accurate, the environment felt isolated and hopeless and I loved how dug in the film was to documented cases of witches.
