Not really alot of communication. Or training. Management acted as if they just didn't want to be there. Which lead to them not really caring and to my point no communication.

I've been there for almost 40 years. Will retire this year with a pension. Social security, tsp(401k), annual leave payout and medical. It's been great. Oh sure there are ups and downs, but during the down just bid to a whole new place and time. 24 hour place, so plenty options. Huge company so do what you like.

They don't tell you that you will walk up to 17 miles a day for a city carrier position. If they think you are too slow they will try to push you to quit. You may work up to 78 hours a week, being shuffled around to various offices all over the area before you become a regular.. Some offices are better then others.

A lot of politics within management. They hire anyone and promote people without the proper knowledge as long as they are your friend. Cut overtime but expect you to do the job of 3 people
