This movie is not what you would expect, and that is the point. You the audience learns more as the townspeople do about the Sisterhood. This movie is a lot like The Crucible in the sense that it centers around a town that persecutes the Sisterhood as cultish and satanic while not recognizes the members of the so-called cult are innocents. The story ends with a tragedy and a message of forgiveness for past wrongs; therefore, it is not without merit for the story it tells, even if it seems like just another teen coming of age story. The acting was well done and the only criticism I have of it is the parents' unwillingness at times to listen to their daughters--although they eventually do. This further strengthens the forgiveness on the part of the main characters at the end of the movie and their own growth and their growing maturity in relation to each other and their parents and peers.

The Sisterhood Of Night offer unique perspectives on teen flick. Brilliantly use the current a social media era and mysterious witch trials to share their deepest dreams, pains and desires, then renewing their bond of friendship, which delicately convey of teenage girl power plays, jealously, and loneliness.

What could have been just another teen movie, turns into a study on parent-child relationships that thanks to very solid performances by all its young and talented actresses, leaves you puzzled while you try to figure out the truth. A diferent kind of witchcraft that is a must see for all parents and their children.
