WINDOWS 7 DOWNLOAD LINKS AVAILABLE FROM DIGITAL RIVER

I want to know if the windows 7 download links available from digital river are genuine and legit? I want to download an untampered, genuine ISO of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. PLUS, i also want to know that the windows 7 downloads avaiable from digital river are RTM or RETAIL? What is the difference between RTM and RETAIL? I have heard RETAIL version is more stable than RTM, is that so? Which version RTM or RETAIL will be better for me for clean install, performance and greater stability ( No hanging, No bugs, No system freezing etc.)
In the context of my concerns above, kindly provide me with a untouched genuine and bug-free ISO download link of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
Kind advices on my concerns will be highly appreciated. Lots of thanks in advance!
AM

Digital river is legit.  RTM (released to manufacturing)=Retail  they are virtually the same.  If you are purchasing an OS you should be fine, if you are just looking to download a win 7 image (and have the key) you need to make sure your key is retail and not OEM (original equipment mfr) in other words did it come pre-installed with the PC

I have the Windows 7 Ultimate key that came with the tag on my dell optiplex 780. Would that work with the Windows if i download it from digital river download link? Or would i need a retail key?
And as you stated that Digital River is legit, so does it mean that it is untampered genuine? and stable (bugs-free)?

It will work with it, just as long as you have the same edition. If Windows 7 Ultimate is listed on the COA sticker attached to your Dell, then yes, it will work with the copy of Windows 7 Ultimate from Digital River.

Download the corresponding edition of Windows 7 you have a license for from the following link. You can identify the edition on COA sticker attached to your machine, with at bottom or battery compartment (laptop) or top/side if its a desktop computer.

RTM - Release To Manufacturer  represents a phase where the software is production ready and represents its stability.

Retail - represents the channel the software belongs to, you have different channels, this is not related to RTM or the stability of the software. Other channels include OEM, Volume License, Academic.

Andre Da Costa, thank you very much for your kind reply. It ended my confusion. Actually i was a bit concerned that digital river download of windows 7 is untampered original ISO or not, and Retail is better than RTM or not. Thanks very much!
