Of course the visit to The Ruins is a must when in Bacolod! It' s really nice to visit on a late afternoon to see the place when it is still bright and when it is already dark and lighted. We were lucky that the place was not that crowded but we still need to wait to get a good picture of the building without many people in the background. There is a cafe by the garden and stands that sell ice cream and sugarcane juice. The latter is really good with lemon (or was it calamansi?). There is also a souvenir shop. We tooked a taxi going there and took the service van to a mall for fee. Quite convenient.

The best time to visit The Ruins is between 4:00PM and 7:00PM when the beautiful sunset colors fill-up the remains of what was once a beautiful mansion. The house was build as a symbol of Lacson's love to his muse Braga. If you will look closely, the walls were carved from their domestic lives.

Enjoyed visiting the Ruins. Place is left pretty much without much in the way of restoration, but still interesting in its originality.

One of the best place to visit when your in Negros Occidental. It's The Ruins with its magnificent structures and scenic location. They have also a restaurant if your hungry. It's a nice place to visit when your looking for historic locations or want some cool selfies and groupies. Plus perfect for events and pictorials. The place is like the smaller version of Calaruega without the church. The place is a garden well manicured but nothing really special , was expecting the so called ruins is comparable to bigger buildings like in La Casas but it is not. You can skip this
