Fantastic hotel we had a great trip for first timers to the country. I found the hotel to have very polite, friendly and helpful staff. They tended to what we needed promptly. It was a good location for easy reach of tourist attractions.

This hotel was really nice, and every single staff member I met was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms have awesome views, and the complimentary breakfast was incredible, there were a lot of food and drink options.

Very pleasant experience first class service...good location easy to access and areas good if u have a car easy to drive out from hotel..but other sources available. Rooms excellent..we were lucky enough to get an Upgrade so no complaints but customer service excellent would recommed

Property is great and so is the staff but I would not recommend booking their standard rooms. Shower wasn’t too great and water came out of the the tub area on to the floor every time I showered. Had to upgrade to a room with some extra cost per night. Two bedroom apartment was very comfortable.

With a spectacular sea view and delicious choice of food at reasonable prices, this is a favourite Sunday lunch venue - especially their buffet. We also had the added benefit of the beautiful and talented Kathryn Swain providing background music - highly recommended!

Carpets in hallways dirty. A good Re decoration is needed. More art work on the walls to brighten the long corridors would be good. Lock changing programmme on doors causes noise dirt and corridors full of equipment and men. A pity - with a little more effort i5 could be a really great place to stay - very dingy corridors - perhaps the lighting needs to change

We totally agree that we need to constantly keep our hotel relevant and ensure our product remains in tip top shape. As you noted our hotel has a few areas to improve on and this is exactly what we are busy doing. We are upgrading our entire hotel lock systems to the latest technology which allows even for blue tooth access. Our passages have all be re-painted and new artwork arriving in a few weeks. Rooms are all getting a soft touch improvement in coming weeks. Hotel lobby and public spaces improvement start early 2018. We realise that when work happens there may always be some impact and we do our utmost best to control or event prevent such. We do however ask and appreciate consideration that improvements must happen as you would expect. I am certain that when you return you will note the improvement and enjoy its benefits. This Hotel is one of the best locations for visiting the attractions and shows, in Cape Town. Having spent the last 15 years, staying in this Hotel, I can honestly say that this has been taken from a comfortable Hotel, to a four star luxury Hotel!!( I think it should rate as a five star !) Rooms superb, cleanliness superb, staff efficient friendly, and extremely helpful..nothing too much trouble. . . . Dining room staff also 100% ...food is varied, well cooked and presented , and breakfast buffet fantastic. This is all achieved by Nardia and her customer relations team, who keep a very watchful eye at all times. Every time I have visited recently, there is something new to enjoy..five months ago, new sun beds...most comfortable , new towels for pool....this time a new pool,Bar…

Wife and I spent 6 nights here and were pleased for the value for the money. Good location - not right in the city but one street up from the water (which we wanted) and good access into Capetown or down the coast to Camps Bay (or beyond). Upgraded us to a 1-bedroom apartment which was nice and bigger but down in the basement and there is no elevator access to their so going up and down got a bit old and not fun when carrying stuff. Morning breakfast was very good - omelets and eggs to order and a nice selection of food. Had the room service twice and it was exceptional both times. Pool liked nice although too cold to swim right now. Gym has a some dumbbells, 1 elliptical, 1 treadmill, 1 bike, and then an old machine...not much. Staff was courteous and helpful the entire time.…

as long as you pay with a credit card you will be covered, but maybe not through an email, go direct to the website to pay, never click a link in an email if you are even slightly unsure.

You can hold the shower in your hand in the room we stayed in.
Shower is in the bath.
Overall bathroom is very small

It's best to check with the hotel prior as not all hotel's offer day room stays. I'm sure it would still be a private room though.
