The hotel location is very good. The receptionists were nice and helpful. The travel desk helped me a lot to arrange tours for me. The rooms and the bed are comfortable. However, the pictures are better than what you get in reality. I was a bit disappointed as I paid additional to get a room with an ocean view (as it appears in the pictures). But what I got was a room with a little view of the ocean from the window corner.

Overall good hotel, refreshments include rooibas tea and a red tea, and two bottles of water. Room was very decent, location was great. Hotel staff were friendly and professional, particularly the reception and breakfast services.

We sought after an upgrade hotel for our often breakaway overnight stay. This we found at The President Hotel. Was specifically impressed by the big variety of food available for breakfast! Especially the pancake machine I have never seen before! Thank you for a most wonderful stay with beautiful memories to take home!

We booked three days at this hotel for my wife´s Birthday and had wonderful experience. The Room was nice, spacious, modern (renovated) and clean. The Service in all restaurants were very good and the food and drink delicious. Everyone at the hotel was always very friendly and helpful whereby the location of the hotel is good. We will stay again at this hotel, next time we are in Cape Town. Fining the hotel was a little challenge as our navigation system send us to the wrong area as there are two streets with the same name.

We had a wonderful stay in President Hotel, Cape Town. The location and views were excellent. The Hop on Hop off bus stop was next to the hotel and was very convenient. The overall service was excellent. We did our best to save water for Cape Town.

The pictures look a lot nicer than the actual hotel. The service & facilities were average however if location is more important to you, the hotel is a stone throw away from sea point promenade and well located.

Staff not Friendly and accomodative to guests. The Hotel is amazing but the staff don't treat everyone equal. Rooms is lovely. The room service person put the phone down in my ear. The staff at the restaurant only attend to you when they have attended to everyone else. I don't know if it is the colour of my skin but maybe the Hotel manager can advise.

The President Hotel was phenomenal. Brilliant service, a special mention to Claude who made sure our stay was a memorable experience! The breakfasts were delicious and a huge selection of different foods. The rooms were clean and neat. Such a wonderful experience!

A very pleasant stay. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The room was amazing and had a very comfortable bed. The view from the room was spectacular. The food was great as was the service. 10 out of 10 for sure.

The hotel has plugs for European plugs, but only one in the room. Other plugs are specific for SA. I recommend to get cheap ones from Amazon. Not sure if the hotel has plugs for guests to borrow.

as long as you pay with a credit card you will be covered, but maybe not through an email, go direct to the website to pay, never click a link in an email if you are even slightly unsure.

You can hold the shower in your hand in the room we stayed in.
Shower is in the bath.
Overall bathroom is very small
