Great property with stunning view of the beach, a nice pool and excellent rooms. The service was always prompt, professional and polite. Really good value for what you pay, and an amazing breakfast to boot. Truly impressed by the hotel and would come back here for business of pleasure.

They don't respond to their enquiry email. I had to ask a friend in Cape Town to call them after I sent enquiries about early check in as my flight was quite early. The reception guy by the name of Silumko was rude and had diva antics. He needs some customer service classes. Their rooms are not clean. There was hair in their bathroom, stains on the bedding and couch. The entire 3 nights I was there no one bothered to clean the carpet. Room service prepared inedible food. I had to request for them to prepare again. Breakfast was included however I didn't have breakfast because their space is too small to accommodate everyone and that required a long wait. We do wish to clarify that our check in time is at 2pm and only based on availability can we happily assist with an earlier arrival. Although we appreciate receiving requests prior to arrival we are not able to guarantee this until time of arrival. I do realise that you did not appreciate having to wait for a table at our breakfast restaurant. Please note that the hotel is running at high occupancy and we offer our breakfast service from 06:30 am till 10:30 am to allow sufficient time for all our guests to enjoy a good start of the day. Should there be a high number of guests arrive at the same time we unfortunately can only sit a certain number at the same time. We can however accommodate over 200 guests at the same time and there may be at peak times a few min waiting time. We always do try to limit this. We do hope to welcome you back soon. Should of reviewed this hotel ages ago as it is amazing. Me and my boyfriend visited here back in December 2016 for 17 nights and it was a great stay with the most amazing staff, especially Ash, general manager, who works behind the reception. I contacted the hotel before I attended as I have an intolerance to dairy and I was worried before going here. They were very helpful before arriving and brilliant when I got there. They helped me with all the meals to make sure the food was good for me to eat. They also have soy milk, so I was still able to have my morning coffee. Ash helped me to organise a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. A special table for dinner, a cake, balloons and flowers. The chef made us a dairy free birthday cake and it was absolutely delicious. A very pleasant stay with a fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful host who walks around and talks to all the guests. I did not get his name at breakfast but has the most wonderful personality. The food is excellent and he staff are well trained.

Our stay at the discounted winter rate was well worth it. Would have been really disappointed i we paid full rates. The room was very nice and quite spacious. Location is very good, walking distance to Seapoint promenade. Beautiful sunset (if you have an ocean view). Breakfast was good (not great). Reception staff very friendly,. Dont try and get hold of anybody senior/management, they never around. Overall 3 stars. Had an incident where they never reversed the pre-auth on my credit card and still billed me for the stay. 2 weeks later still waiting for it to be sorted out! If you calling the Hotel for any reason don't hold your breath if they say they calling you back, it never happens. ( 7 calls in total, still waiting for a single call back)

Overall satisfied with stay, reception very friendly and accommodating (restaurant too), although housekeeping can do with some improvement (smelly towels, dusty floors and smelly corridor carpets). Impressed that they would have packed a breakfast pack for us at short notice from the night before when informing them we were going to be out for the day before breakfast was served. Restaurant has a good spread of food and they're of good quality too. Disappointed at smell of carpets on 6th floor corridor. Noticed dusty wooden floors in rooms (can feel when walking barefoot ). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The President. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the unit very spacious with great coffee and a great view. An added bonus was the hair salon in the hotel where I got a superb wash and blow. The location is another bonus, central without being on a busy road. I will definitely return!

The apartment rooms is very comfortable for families, location is great, and pool also safe for small children. If you like an early morning run alongside the sea then this is the place to be. Not to mention the breakfast afterwards...😛

as long as you pay with a credit card you will be covered, but maybe not through an email, go direct to the website to pay, never click a link in an email if you are even slightly unsure.
