Thinking of going to Cape Town at the start of February, is this a good time to go?
Also, what are the restrictions like at the moment?
Thanks.
No restrictions really just wear a mask and keep a safe distance and sanitize your hands and you cant go wrong
Thank you. Do you have to wear a mask whilst walking the streets?
Yes you do have to wear a mask walking in the streets.
To answer your first question February is one of the best months to be here in Cape Town. It is one of the most stable mid-summer months year-by--year. Daily temperatures typically mid to high 20s - sometimes low 30s. With high sunshine hours, low humidity and normally very little or no rain. Maybe an odd light shower one or two days in the month. Night time minima low 20s /high teens.
February is one of the best months to spend in Cape Town. Beautiful beach weather. There are no restrictions in Cape Town. You just need to wear a mask whether you are inside or outside. Keep a safe distance from others and sanitise. Otherwise youre good to go!
My wife and I went for our honeymoon, romantic city. Cape Town is a little too hot in February though, scotch folk are likely to burn.
Masks must be worn in all public spaces, beaches included - so pack a mask alongside your ‘kini.
Edited: 2 years agoDon’t listen to Pat McGroin, I’m sure you’ll have a 5 star time if you choose to visit.
If you need any recommendations of hotels, restaurants or museums don’t hesitate to holler at me honey!
