The bar menu was exceptional and the portion sizes were huge. Ask for the pickled onions for your cheese burger. The 6 onion soup and Steak and Blue Salad are plenty for two people to share. Our server, Cecelia was attentive, funny and helpful! Hope you’re in her section when you go.

My husband and I stayed here the week of our wedding and were not very impressed with our experience. The staff was friendly, but our room looked very outdated and the only toiletry provided in the whole bathroom was one bar of soap. There was no shower cap, makeup remover wipes, hand sanitizer wipes, mouthwash.... no extras whatsoever. If you planned to park your car or eat breakfast here that cost extra. There was also no airport shuttle service. We ended up staying at the Oxford Suites downtown our last night in Spokane where we had free buffet style breakfast, free parking, free airport shuttle, complementary wine, beer, soup, and breadsticks, plenty of toiletries, and updated rooms with very comfortable beds for much cheaper than Doubletree.

The customer service at this DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Spokane City Center is by far the best I have experienced at a Hilton location. Karunya checked in with me prior to my arrival via text message to welcome me to the property and orient me to the property’s amenities, and Nicole went above and beyond to accommodate my needs with a room switch. Karunya and especially Nicole made me feel like a truly valued and honored (pun intended) guest of the Hilton Honors family. The accommodations are also very clean and comfortable with recently renovated bathrooms, and the hotel is within walking distance of a small local coop market and a number of nice restaurants.

Pana rival sturdy cobwebs some thing I’ve been spilled on the couch throw pillows in the wall it look like someone had eaten they were crumbs on the ground requested numerous times to have it cleaned it was not. Finally I got someone to bring me up clean supplies and I cleaned it myself. I requested housekeeping each day we were there and neither of three days did I receive housekeeping. The breakfast was over priced for the limited selection which was the same each day

CleanStay by Hilton ensures guest comfort and safety by only entering rooms when guests have requested. This is reviewed during the check-in process. Guests can opt for daily service, no service, or specific days. Of course we are happy to modify and increase service if requested.

We recently stayed at the Doubletree for a few nights. We had to extend one more night unfortunately as we were waiting on some important mail to arrive before continuing our travels.

The location is very good. Walkable to downtown and Riverfront Park. Our room was large and spacious. However, the customer service needs a good tune up. We have high status with Hilton and still didn't receive the customer service we should have. They also do not make guests wear masks despite signs everywhere that they are required.

The air conditioning in the room makes no sense. It would shut off randomly even when we were in the room, and it never got below 70 despite it being set as low as it would go at 65. This included in the middle of the night when we were sleeping, and given the temperatures in Spokane were over 100, that was unfortunate. The rooms and the hotel in general is quite old so that may have something to do with it.

Our first night there, someone around or above us was having a very loud party of some variety. My husband contacted the front desk three separate times, and nothing was done. Finally I think they realized we had status and actually responded, but the noise didn't stop, and there was no apology from anyone.

As stated above, we had to unexpectedly extend our reservation for a night. I called and spoke to Victor at the front desk. He is the only saving grace in terms of customer service and was delightful and helpful. However, later that same afternoon. housekeeping walked into our room, without knocking, as my husband and I were both naked and getting dressed. She screamed and immediately backed out of the room. No apology given there either.

When we told the front desk about it, to ensure they knew we were in fact staying another night. We spoke to Brooke. She blamed us having extended for a night and housekeeping not knowing that we were still in the room. Again, no apology. Instead she laughed and brushed it off like it was nothing. Policy dictates that even if housekeeping believes a room to be vacant, they still knock and announce themselves rather than just waltzing in.

There are other Hilton properties in the area-stay there.

Housekeeping must always knock and announce themselves before entering a room. Sorry if they moved too quickly. I'll follow up with our Housekeeping Team. Sounds like the thermostat in your room wasn't working correctly. These are all brand new and the A/C units are less than a year old. Should not turn off during your stay. Thanks for letting us know.

The rooms were dated with ripped, exposed carpet, the odor was awful throughout the hallway and room. It was before 4:00pm and was not allowed to cancel. The shower toiletries were just left on counter instead of in the candies and would pump out the shampoo or conditioner. All this for over $200.00 a night and 30.00 to park.

I’ve stayed at the Doubletree 6-7 times and have always found it to a clean, fairly modern spot. Nice and comfortable, but not fancy.

My most recent stay was fine, until I checked out. The hotel inadvertently double charged me, which set of a domino effect that I’m still dealing with. Being overcharged overdrew my account, resulting in a $50 overdraft fee.

I called the hotel and they Agreed to refund the overcharge. I then requested that they refund a $35 fee that I’d paid to upgrade rooms, a fair request given that their mistake cost me $50. I was quickly told that they were unable to refund that...why? As if this moment (24 hours after they agreed to refund the overcharge) no funds have been refunded to me.

This hotel will also nickel and some you. To check out even an hour late costs $35, and while they’ll tell you it’s common in the industry, I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for 4 years and in over 130 hotel stays during that span I’ve NEVER been charged a late checkout fee.

Nice hotel with clean rooms. Check in was quick and they offer an airport shuttle. Warm cookies upon check-in (a doubletree signature). The rooms are smaller in size and not quite as spacious but that’s fine, no issue.

The one thing I will say is at about 9am (after a late arrival) I laid in bed and listened to two housekeepers complain about me (and the rest of my party in 3 different rooms) that they had to sit around and wait for us to leave to clean our rooms and how they were annoyed about it. Mind you this is right outside my door. It was laughable and not a big deal, but maybe save the complaining for the break room haha!

Hilton states that each room will be thoroughly cleaned at all touch surfaces and rooms have a seal on them saying they are clean. However, the lamp base next to our bad was full of dust that had obviously been there for some time. The phone keypad was fill of grime and dust also. Bathroom supplies not replaced or refilled either. No tissue and shower gel dispenser was empty.

I spent three nights at this property, and I felt safe and secure. They customize their cleaning services based on the guest’s preferences. My room was spacious and had a lovely view of the river. I will definitely return.

Why does this hotel come up as pet friendly when you go to their site and they say they are not.
