We have had takeaways from here 4 times since it reopened after the lockdown and they were all very good. It makes a change to find some consistency from local indian takeaways. Chicken biryanis have all been tasty and good quality and on 2 occasions...had vegetable baltis. Can't really fault it.More
We ordered this as a takeaway, on the way back home. The website was easy to use, however we had to check by phone that they had received the order, as we didn’t get confirmation. Service was prompt, with pickup very quickly offered on our...return home (20 mins max). The meat (lamb and chicken) were both chewy and dry, were obviously not the best quality. The curry sauces, (a madras and curry) tasted fine, but again were nothing special compared with what we have experienced before. Also a garlick nann was quite fatty, rather than more bready. The food was ok, however on both taste and quality we felt that this was decidedly below the best that we had had elsewhere.More
We tried the takeaway whilst in morecambe and we're very happy and glad we did. This little family run restaurant is up there with some of the best Indian food I have tasted and reviewed over the years. It's not very often you see a...lady cooking in an Indian takeaway kitchen. It is very obvious and noticeable that they are using fresh spices as the food was fresh, clean and bursting with flavours. We only wish we lived local so could try a few more dishes but will definitely return when in north again. Keep up the good work and your excellent standards and your a credit to small family run businesses .More
If you want a nice indian meal avoid this take away. We saw our meal being microwaved. The food was tasteless and the naan breads where really bland. The manager said the food was cooked that day but needed heating up, he couldn't give it...to us cold!!!!!! Avoid this take away.More

Well I'm sorry to say, but the food was crap. I had the mixed grill which was advertised in the menu at £12.95 and I was charged £13.10? The chicken leg I was served was similar to a battery hen which had stopped laying and...must have been on its pension judging by the amount of sinew in its leg. The rest of the meat hadn't been left in the microwave long enough and was cold. The naan bread had also been reheated as it wasn't the best. The salad portion was OK, crispy lettuce etc. Well done for that guys. I noticed a bleach bottle at eye level when you walk in. This certainly leads one to the impression that a place is clean!!! I can't remember latin for buyer beware but you get the gist. There's a few drinking spots close by, so I suppose if you are steaming (which I would have to be to eat from there again) then it wouldn't really matter about the food quality. Ordered a delivery ..Poppadoms & dips were lovely! The King prawn pathia however wasn’t. The curry tasted good but the consistency was too thin and runny. The prawns were inedible, too tough and crunchy. Prawns should be meaty and break up easily on your palette....The garlic naan lacked any garlic, very plain. Unfortunately unless they source good prawns I wouldn’t order again.More
Read the reviews so thought we would try somewhere different. It was hard to find too just down the side street. We ordered 2 of the meal deals both having Chicken Tikka Masala and sadly we were both disappointed with the Curry. They tasted more...like a Korma than Masala so not our favourite takeaway we’ve had in Morecambe.More

The curry dish was, as always from here, excellent. However the nan accompanying it was tough as an old boot. clearly undercooked. A shame as l always give five stars to my favourite indian takeaway
Called in for a take away on the spur of the moment. Have to say it was not good, waited ages for food, staff seemed pre occupied not interested in customers. Got home with food 5 minutes later, food was lukewarm at best. Looked awful,...didn’t taste better. Will not be backMore
Staff answered the phone and left us hanging on for 30 minutes we gave up whilst we could hear customers in th back ground collecting and staff arguing with each other , your loss won't use you again went else where and the food was...amazing , cravens on Yorkshire street great service and quality food missed out on a party of 12More
I've been ordering from bombay express for quite a while now, and I thought it's time to leave a review considering every time has been superb! I believe the managers name is dila (apologies if I've spelt it wrong) and he is always extremely polite...and often recommends different dishes to suit my preferences. He is very knowledgable and I can see he and other members off staff at this plane have a real passion for the food and what they do. The chicken tikka masala is outstanding from express, although it's a very simple dish I don't think any other take away prepares this dish with as much flavour and quality. I've tried many other dishes and they are always brilliant. I will continue to use Bombay and would like to personally thank them for the constant outstanding quality service and excellent delivery times.More

Good service & the delivery driver was nice which is always a bonus. The food was hot when it arrived and the waiting time wasn't massive (around 40mins). It was a little pricey but the portions are quite big. However we found both our curries...to be a little too runny, other than that we will definitely be returning.More

We now use this take away regularly as we never tire of trying different meals off the menu - and we've never had anything we haven't liked !! The food is always hot and tasty - and always delivered by a friendly driver and has...always been delivered a lot faster than the time quoted !!! Always worth checking out the various promotions as well !! Can't say anything else apart from - FANTASTIC !!More
