They're justified, and they're ancient
Love KLF. Their Chillout album was a huge influence on my life when it came out. This along with waxtrax made me move across the country and study sound in chicago.
I will always recommend John Higgs’ “The KLF: Chaos, Magic and the Band Who Burned a Million Pounds”
Wonderful book. It is where I first encountered the concept of “reality tunnel,” which I am still not sure how I feel about. But I definitely think about it a lot.
BEEP BOOP
The KLF is best thought of as a group of mischievous troublemakers and counter-culturists who also happened to make music. See also: Negativland.
