At the moment, Timothée Chalamet is the undisputed prince of Hollywood. He’s starred in two instantly beloved films (Call Me by Your Name and Lady Bird), earned the love and respect of Cardi B, thrown up shaka with Meryl Streep and Laura Dern, and charmed the notoriously fickle world of social media with high school-era videos of himself rapping about statistics (“It’s ya boy, lil’ Timmy Tim!”). Now, though, the time has come for Chalamet to put princehood aside and level up.

Thankfully, he’s found the perfect role for that: the young Oscar nominee is reportedly set to play the titular role of King Henry V in the upcoming Netflix film The King, directed by David Michôd (War Machine) and produced by Plan B, according to Deadline.

The script was co-written by Michôd and Joel Edgerton. The King will be produced by Plan B’s Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner, as well as Edgerton, Michôd, and Liz Watts.

The plot, set in the late 1300s, revolves around a prince whose brother is killed in battle right before his coronation. Henry V, next in line to the throne, ascends to the crown in his late twenties and is immediately tasked with preserving England as it goes to war with France. And you thought your twenties were hard (ba dum tss).

This isn’t the first project we’ll see Chalamet in after Call Me by Your Name—he’s also got Woody Allen’s A Rainy Day in New York and the addiction drama Beautiful Boy up next. However, this film is one of the first he’s lined up since becoming the youngest best-actor Oscar nominee in about 80 years. The King has all the trappings of a solid prestige picture with awards-season potential, and now it’s got Hollywood royalty in the lead role. Long live Chalamet.
