Timothée Chalamet’s ‘The King’ premiere look is the talk of Twitter

Timothée Chalamet‘s bowl cut isn’t the only look from his latest movie that’s making fans swoon.

The actor, 23, set Twitter on fire on Monday night with his bold red carpet outfit at the Venice Film Festival premiere of “The King.”

For the occasion, Chalamet chose a silver look from Haider Ackermann’s spring 2020 Menswear that included a blazer with an obi belt over a silky blouse. He rolled up his trousers to show off a pair of pointy-toed black boots.

Everyone seemed to make the same joke on Twitter, dubbing the actor the king of the red carpet and rumored girlfriend Lily-Rose Depp his queen.

“How Timothée Chalamet manages to be a quintessential 2019 heartthrob AND a 19th century women’s horse racing superstar, I don’t know,” podcast host Louis Virtel said.

Another fan wrote, “The fact this is Timothée Chalamet at his movie premiere and not a model modelling clothes on a runway.” A third summed it up thusly: “Timothée Chalamet knows this is HIS world and we’re just living in it.”

The bold outfit comes as no surprise; Chalamet wore a grey jacket with asymmetric fastening and matching trousers from the same French designer on Sunday as he arrived at the festival in a slightly more relaxed look.

In the movie, the “Call Me By Your Name” heartthrob stars as a Young Henry V alongside Rose-Depp, Robert Pattinson, Ben Mendelsohn, Joel Edgerton and more.

>Chalamet charmed fans with more than just his good looks and savvy style on the Italian red carpet; upon greeting a fan who had a tattoo of his face on her arm, the actor was snapped kissing her ink, in a moment that swiftly went viral.
