DC's Middle Eastern Cocktail Bar
Combining modern craft cocktails and mixology with the flavors of the Middle East, giving you drinks like the Saz'iraq, Lebanese No. 1, Janissary Corps, and our legendary Mint Lemonade & More.
+ Why is it called the Green Zone and how did it start?
It's named after the International Zone in Baghdad and is a way to denote that this is a safe space for people to be themselves. It started as a pop-up bar in a kitchen off 14th St NW and existed as a pop up for 4 years first.
+ What type of bar is it (Palestinian, Lebanese, Iraqi)?
Middle Eastern, the answer is Middle Eastern.
+ Is it supposed to be political?
What a luxury to not be affected by politics.
+ Are you serious about "Fuck Trump"?
Yes, it's delicious.
+ Why do you also play so much Latin/reggae music?
Why not?
+ Can I request a song???
No.
+ What's with the Johnnie Walker bottles?
It's the second currency of the Middle East!
