So you’ve watched all of Netflix’s latest original series, The Good Cop, and you want more? Of course you do! The dramedy series stars Tony Danza and Josh Groban as the father-son duo we never knew we needed, with Tony Sr. fresh off serving time for being a NYPD cop that didn’t quite play by the rules, and Tony Jr. the current NYPD detective who only plays by the rules. And now they’re living under the same roof in Brooklyn!

The 10 episodes of Season 1 were packed with interesting cases, including those involving bowling, skiing, and even Bob Saget. The Good Cop has mixed elements of the procedural with comedy and family themes into a show that feels both old-school and innovative at the same time, all while remaining a lot of fun to watch. Which is presumably why you want more of it! Trust us, we want answers too, but here’s what we know so far.

Will there be a Season 2 of The Good Cop?

Oh wow, we’ve got a real TJ on our hands over here, stopping at nothing to get answers! But there’s no case to crack here, we definitely want more of the show. While there’s been no official word yet from the streaming platform, and we’d expect it would be at least about a month until we do hear, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that both Tony Sr. and Jr. return for more mysteries.

When will Season 2 of The Good Cop be on Netflix?

Another puzzle to solve! If in fact The Good Cop is renewed for another season, the earliest we can expect it to hit Netflix would be the fall of 2019. One thing we do know for sure, is that it would be wise to stay tuned to Decider for any and all updates on The Good Cop.
