Welcome to the Trope Pantheons thread! Please read the rules:

    Rules
Rules. The following are not suggestions or tips, but things that have to be followed:
  • When writing a profile, take note of the following:
    • Gods cannot be followers or high priests for obvious reasons. The 'gods' have ascended meaning there is no need for said character to be a follower of another if they have ascended.
    • No hype profiles, please. 'Hype Profiles' are profiles that have been made out of ongoing events and have not been around for a long time. This creates 'hype' due to popularity and certain elements either through certain scenes, memes, dramatic acting or considered overly awesome. They are not bad tropes but building a portfolio solely for that is a bad idea, as they do not say a thing about representing the trope best (unless it's those trope concepts that they are trying to embody for a long time)
      • You can see one if the profile is only showing off how awesome they are or suddenly pushing how 'significant' they are thanks to the just very recent events rather than respecting the longstanding good representations of the trope. And usually having... minimum portfolio or flavor texts and being a bit too generalized or self-contained to events from within their home series instead of interacting with other Pantheon members.
  • When posting in the forum, take note of the following:
    • When you suggest a God, please explain why they fit the trope. Not everyone is going to understand just "X should be the God of Y because they exemplify the trope" off the bat, especially if they're unfamiliar with the work.
    • You must use the Trope Pantheons discussion thread in the forums if you wish to add a new deity, story, something else of importance to the Trope Pantheon canon, or reworking an existing deity (be it simply improving their existing profile or changing their title).
      • For new and reworked deities, 3 [tup] means the profile will have a one week waiting period.
      • For new and reworked deities, 4 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 5 [tup] is an automatic ascension for new and reworked deities.
      • Speaking of reworks, for anyone that wants to improve such profiles, they have to review the current trope the character(s) has and see if it still holds up or if there is a better rep for their trope.
    • For adding new Treasures to The Great Treasury or new Dominions to the Dominions, the following rules apply:
      • For new Treasures or Dominions, 3 [tup] is a 3 day waiting period.
      • 4 [tup] is an automatic addition to the Great Treasury or Dominions.
    • Do not repost a profile in the forums more than twice in a day if noticeable changes have not been made in between. If a profile is posted a third time in a row without noticeable alterations, it will be downvoted. This is so spamming of no-effort profiles is less frequent and to prevent tropers from getting aggravated seeing the same profile over and over. The minimum acceptable change has to be a single flavour text.
    • The Pantheon is not a mouthpiece for you to voice your opinions on certain characters. You may like certain characters more than others, but do not make the mistake of making profiles for characters you like look like Character Shilling.
    • Tropers new to the Pantheon are barred from approving or downvoting profiles until they have ascended at least two profiles.
    • Do not include fan reception in any profiles. It has nothing to do with the character themselves and will create unnecessary conflict.
    • Write a detailed explanation on why the character is the best candidate for deity of that trope. If people disagree with you, do not force it on the people.
    • Keep in mind that if you still want to try to find a trope for a particular character, you are only given three chances to find a particular trope for them. If a suggestion goes past three possible tropes, then it will come off as shoehorning a character into the Pantheon just for the sake of that character to be there.
      • On a related note, even if a character does have a free trope being suggested, there is still a limit of three attempts for suggesting that character for that trope. If no one responds to that certain proposal after being posted three times, then it will get to the point where the idea will be seen as being shoehorned into the Pantheon. In addition, the idea needs to be considered acceptable and approved because they are good, not for the sake of pitying others because no one is responding to their idea.
  • When posting Pantheon related stuff to the wiki, take note of the following:
    • Do not put a link to these Pantheon pages into the main wiki page. The moment you want to add in a main Characters page that the character is a God of this trope, do not do it. If you see leftovers of this practice, inform the forum and use the cutlist. This also goes to the Trivia page. The only exception to this rule is if a page in the Pantheon could be confused for a page in Main, like Good Colors, Evil Colors and Good and Evil Colors.
    • Rule of Cautious Editing Judgment ALSO applies here. Do not bring things that would incite fights, even if it is what is currently the hot topic and might be 'urgent'. For example, the political scene and some really bad politicians. We are not here to fight at each other, so don't suggest things that go to that direction, this is a fictional Pantheon after all.
    • To add a Pantheon page for a certain work, 4 or more characters coming from the same series/franchise should be ascended before adding the page. For Creator specific pages, 4 deities coming from the same creator and 2 individual work pages coming from the same creator is the minimum to warrant a page.
    • Do not create a trope page for a story until the story is fully completed.

    Instructions and Tips
Here are some tips one should keep in mind when editing:

  • Preparing to write:
    • First thing to do before present a profile is to go to the Trope Pantheons discussion thread. In the forums, you must discuss with other users on adding ideas and seek their approval with sound reasoning. You can also get some assistance in the forum thread by either asking for help and those interested asking if they can help. Submissions that are added without discussion are likely to be deleted and those who violate those rules by adding Pantheon content without discussion will get reported to the mods.
    • If you feel the need to remove a character for some reason (poor quality, outdated titles, etcetera) and replace him/her with another or outright rework, please see what the other tropers think about this in the discussion thread before doing anything hasty. Use good reasoning to see if your idea can easily replace the character present without drawing out your statement or giving too ambiguous claims most do not understand.
    • Please be sure to consult others in the discussion about what you want to work before making the profile. This is done to see if your proposal is the best representative and so, in case your profile is turned down, you do not waste time writing something that others might not find suitable.
      • In the same vein, if you adopt a profile from another troper, it is recommended that you make an announcement that you have done so on the discussion thread. More often than not, a trope that was reserved for something was given away to someone else. Check the Related tab on the top of a page to see if a trope or character has been reserved by a user.
    • If, for whatever reason, you are writing about a God who just happens to be a person in real life, just try to be very careful about what you decide to say. Do not try to make the editing seem too meta (self-referential) and use the aformentioned creativity to create hypothetical scenarios towards fictional characters.
  • When writing a profile for a character, here are a few things to note:
    • All deities should be sorted by their divine ranking. Put Overdeities on the top of the page and Quasideities on the bottom. Also be sure to add them in alphabetical order by their first/given name (can be reversed if it is Eastern ordered). For a group, if there is no official name for them all list down all their names by order of relevance or (if too long to list) title them as Insert Name Here Main Characters or some other identifiable title along the same lines.
    • The maximum number of tropes that a god can have is two, but do not try to abuse that fact. If you need to use a second trope to specify a certain thing about their position, that can be excused either because said character represents their trope choice very well alongside the first trope. It is still generally encouraged to only have one trope.
    • A trope can only belong to one profile at a time. The only time two profiles can share a trope is if there are explicit variations listed in the trope page proper (e.g. Muscle Angst is held by both Biscuit Krueger and Chihiro Fujisaki as the former represents "Too Much Muscle" and the latter represents "Not Enough Muscle")
    • If the character you are about to add to a House already exists in another, make sure to mention that this person has spots in other House as well. Up to 2 places can be made for a deity, with the sole exceptions being those at the Main House to highlight those characters’ importance to the Pantheon’s lore.
    • For a character's theme song, try to avoid calling it "Theme of God X" or "Theme of (Show where God X originates from)". If possible, try to find out if the song has an actual name through research. Most importantly, it has to be part their series’ official soundtracks from media. Do not list songs that are made by fans or outside sources. If they were not specifically used as music for that specific character, then they do not count. Furthermore, it has to be a general theme specifically made for that characters’ appearances, not some generic music that plays for many other instances not related to the character in question.
    • For images, when adding an image for your chosen character, it is highly recommended to use a stylized image that embodies the character or renders that also highlights a character’s behavior (such as cool poses). Most images should be from the main adaptations of the character, unless the images from the other media are of a higher quality than the adaptation. Unless it is needed, do not use fanart for images. If you are, please attribute to the original artist. Due to the website’s dark mode, removing white backgrounds from an image is paramount. This website is suggested to do the background removal. If an image you have takes up too much bytes, it is suggestible to use this site to reduce the byte size. If the byte is still too big, put the compressed image to other sites (or even the same one) to compress even further. Use wikias to look for better images, as even wikias for the series might not contain good official images.
    • Creativity is your friend. While it is not recommended to get too ditzy at your ideas, it is best that when writing a profile for a certain character, do you think of capable scenarios between X and Y. Tip: do not use shallow examples (X wields a sword and Y wields one too) and try to think of relationships that makes sense (i.e those characters that are shout-outs for another).
  • Pantheon Content:
    • Some series or genres will eventually have greater representation in the Pantheon than others. This is unavoidable, but a little diversity helps to make you not look like a shill per say. Try to ensure that if you add a deity from a popular series, make sure that it is because they are a good representative for the trope in question, and not just because they are connected to another deity in their respective canon.
      • As far as deities from actual mythologies, there is generally expectation to build the profiles off interactions from fictional portrays rather than basing it entire from the actual myth. Therefore, a mythological deity should be more of a Composite Character whose main identity is from the actual myth.
    • Occasionally there will be Gods that carry a title without a trope. This is not forbidden, but it is well advised not to abuse them. The only house that a tropeless profile are wholly allowed is the House of Food. Mainly due to most food items lacking tropes, and adding tropes about said foodstuffs is slightly unnecessary. However, the character being ascended for their choice of a food, or food-related thing must be a decently good representative of said item. (i.e their Trademark Favorite Food, or something that they are closely associated with In-Universe, or both).
    • For Dominions and Treasures profiles, always consider what made those places/objects popular in the first place. Were they plot-important, identifiable imagery or have a unique aspect of it? Do not just bring regular objects under the basis of following a certain canon.
  • For Profile Standards:
    • Flavor text is used to describe certain things about a character, place or object. To avoid short ones, it is recommended to write flavor text with 4-7 sentences that can fill around 2 lines each. Be warned that adding too many sentences does not equal good flavor text as it is not an essay of sorts (unless words are substantial and do add to the overall line).
    • Character Profiles of a certain person should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 7 (at the minimum) tropes describing their character.
      • Flavor text count for a deity profile should have by minimum, 10 (depending if the character in question has enough relationships/characterization) to 15 with a maximum of 20-25 for an individual profile.
      • On the other hand, group profiles (profiles of a group that has 4 or more members) have their maximum flavor text count to 15 minimum, giving individual lines for the other members of the group (unless the members are not as characterized) up to 30 at max.
    • Dominion profiles of a certain place should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 5 (at the minimum) tropes describing the context of the place.
      • Flavor text count should range at least 10 to 15.
    • Treasure profiles (inanimate objects without a trope) should have the following:
      • A portfolio that contains at least 6 (at the minimum) tropes that describes the object itself.
      • Flavor text count should be at least 7 flavor text up to 12 to constitute a treasure profile.

    Divine Ranking System
  • Overdeity: Omnipotent-level Reality Warpers capable of manipulating the entire universe (or at least the world) at will. Within their own universe they are believed to be omnipotent, or at least impossible-to-completely-destroy embodiments or concepts.
  • Greater Gods: High-level Reality Warpers and that are extremely powerful (capable of destroying or changing anywhere from a large city to a planet at will) and very strong non-reality warpers capable of doing the same thing.
  • Intermediate Gods: Deities at this level are capable of strong but specialized powers such as hydrokinesis, pyrokinesis, etc. without major drawbacks and low level Reality Warpers capable of affecting their immediate area at will.
  • Lesser Gods: Capable of highly specific or little power on their own, or suffer from Power at a Price. However, they may be able to ruthlessly exploit their power or combine it with just being badass enough to make up for it.
  • Demigods: Basically the Badass Normals of the pantheon, making up for their lack of abilities with strength, strategy, and/or planning.
  • Quasideities: Any otherwise normal human, human equivalent, or below without any special powers or training will fall here.

    Templates
Template for adding a new deity:

God X, God/dess of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Rank: This can range from Quasideity, Demigod, Lesser God, Intermediate God, Greater God, to Overdeity, based on representation of power mentioned above.
  • Symbol: An image or icon used to represent the deity.
  • Theme Song: Official song (in other words, no fan music, regardless of quality) that usually is used in affiliation with the character. If the deity is a musician this will most likely be their Signature Song. If possible, give a link for reference, preferably on either a website like Soundcloud or YouTube.
  • Alignment: Good, evil, neutral etc. Forget about The Great Character Alignment Debate here, the Pantheon is one of the few places where you can assign Dungeons & Dragons alignment to characters that don't have alignment system. After all, the Pantheon is based on D&D and is made for fun.
  • For Pokémon deities only:
    • Gender: Defines the gender of the Pokémon; if genderless, it instead defines what gender they identify as.
    • Ability: Provides the Pokémon's ability. If they can Mega Evolve, the new ability is listed as well.
    • Moves: Defines the four moves used by a Pokémon. A Z-Move may also be listed.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the character.
  • Domains: Things that the character has influence over.
  • Herald: Non-ascended loyal character that is from the same series as the ascended character.
  • High Priest: Non-ascended like heralds, but not from the same series, and can serve as a worthy replacement in case something would happen. They can be served as part-time workers in case the originals are busy with some jobs. Co-Godhood is accepted depending on the approval of the originals, usually if the co-deity is from the same series.
  • Followers: Non-ascended characters that are not part of the Pantheon, but would probably worship this character by the fact that they share the ascended character's trope.
  • Relationships between ascended characters go here with your chosen character, it goes something like this:
    • Allies: Members of the Pantheon that are allies, those that share the same values as them and would theoretically be friends with them.
    • Rivals: Members of the Pantheon that are rivals, people who may look at your character with suspicion or a challenge.
    • Enemies: Members of the Pantheon that are foes, those who would see your chosen character as a threat, either on their pespective or yours.
    • Additional Character Relationships: Members of the Pantheon that do not fit in various relationships (examples include Enemy Mine, Vitriolic Best Buds, Teeth-Clenched Teamwork, Headbutting Heroes, Friendly Enemy, Friendly Rival, Just Friends, etc.), allies, rivals, or enemies.
    • Partner: Defines a partnership with an ascended deity and Mon-type. (if any)
    • Feared by/Fears: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon notably fear or are feared by.
    • Respected by/Respects: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon respect or are respected by.
    • Opposed by/Opposes: Not necessarily the same as "Enemies", but this is used for any deity whom the members of the Pantheon directly opposes or is opposed by (basically the opposite of "Respects") terms of certain viewpoints, regardless of alignment.
    • Pitied by/Pities: A deity whom the members of the Pantheon feel pity for or are found pitiable by.
    • Conflicting Opinion: Sometimes, the Deities argue over specific themes and philosophies.
  • Add the Intro. The intro is made up of two trivia, the Ascension Text (or just the Ascension) and The Bio. Both are necessary, but which order you use for them may vary depending on the profile in question. It may be better for one profile to have The Bio first and the Ascension second or vice-versa, although for the most part the order is irrelevant:
    • The Ascension Text: This the story of how the character got into the Pantheon and/or was ascended. There are many ways for this to happen. They may be tricked into it or have simply wandered into the Pantheon, they may have had an already ascended character bring them in, they may already be in the Pantheon (via being another deity's Herald or sharing a trope) and got "promoted", or some combination of the above. Anything is possible in the Pantheon, so use your imagination, but try to incorporate their trope into the story, if possible.
    • The Bio: A brief synopsis on the character's backstory. No need for the character's entire life/production history, but just give enough that those who don't know the character can get an idea of how the character works.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Deities/Characters is 10-15 (15-20 for group profiles) at minimum to 20-25 (30 for group profiles) at maximum.

Template for Dominions profiles:

Place X, Place of (Insert Trope Here) (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Alignment: Refers to the dominion's role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the dominion.
  • Domains: Things that the place has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the location has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the dominion is linked to, note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said dominion, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Dominion is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Dominions is 10 at minimum to 15 at maximum.

Template for Treasure profiles:

The name of the item in here (Alternate names/Nicknames, Fan Nickname)

  • An image, if possible. Please use official art or a screenshot for a picture.
  • Appearance: A shortened description of the item's looks with some notable features also mentioned.
  • Class: Refer to the Treasure Classification System in the Great Treasury.
  • Alignment: Refers to the objects' role in their story, be it those used by villains or used by the Player Character.
  • Theme Song (Optional): Not important as compared to Deity and Dominion profiles but a notable mention if there is an accompanying song in use with the object.
  • Museum Check: A note that says whether the item is viewable by the public.
  • Portfolio: Tropes associated with the item.
  • Domains: Things that the item has links to.
  • Relationships (Optional): Unless the item has a connection with a specific deity, relationships are optional and may not be required. However, if there are deities linked to the same series as where the item is linked to (especially the original owner of the item), note them using the relationships, this includes deities that theoretically have interest with said object, good or evil otherwise.
  • Add the Intro. Here the introduction of the Treasure is added with some tidbits regarding the origins of its' creation and usage in the story. You can also add what made it popular/iconic/important here.
  • Now add some random trivia/facts about events/alignments/moments/fights/friendships/relations etc.
  • And some more trivia/facts.
  • And a couple of more.
    • Note: Standard amount of flavor text for Treasures is 7 at minimum to 12 at maximum.

  • Alice Elliot was born in 1893 to Father Morris Elliot, an English Priest, and was raised in London, England. Hearing supernatural voices in her early childhood, Alice later became an exorcist and worked together with her father. After her father's untimely death by a warlock calling himself Roger Bacon (later revealed to actually be Albert Simon), she was found by the Japanese government and put aboard the Trans-Siberian Express under armed guard in order to escort her back to Japan. However, on the way to their destination, the warlock killed the soldiers protecting Alice, intent on kidnapping her. Fortunately, Alice was saved by Yuri Volte Hyuga, who had been led to the train by a mysterious voice. The two journeyed across main-land China and later Europe, acquiring several more traveling companions along the way and having many adventures dealing with ghosts, demons, warlocks, sages, mad-alchemists, corrupt military officers and their own personal demons. However, after Yuri was reduced to a crazed and feral state due to having tried and failed to fuse with the Seraphic Radiance, Alice and her friends faced him in battle, which resulted in Alice waking up in the Graveyard within Yuri's soul. Encountering malevolent spirits called the Four Masks, Alice made a deal with them to save Yuri by going further into his soul and saving him from his inner darkness at the cost of her being cursed to accumulate Malice in his stead and eventually lose her soul. Later on, before entering the Neameto Float, Alice was summoned to the Graveyard to fulfill her bargain with the Masks. They opened the door to darkness, where she confronted their master, Atman, who subsequently defeated her and completed the ritual of the "Curse of Death", and thus began devouring her soul. Despite being drastically weakened and only having hours to live, Alice managed to linger in the physical world long enough to help save the planet by defeating Albert Simon and the Meta-God, until she finally succumbed on a train to Zurich, dying in Yuri's arms, ridding him of his burden and the Four Masks.
    • Alice was buried in Yuri's overcoat in a grave that he had dug for her with his own hands. As a final gift, Yuri left Anne's Cross, a memento from his mother, on Alice's gravestone. After finding the Émigré Manuscript, Yuri and Roger Bacon tried to use it to raise Alice from the dead. Unfortunately, the Moon Crystal used was unable to withstand the magic and was destroyed, causing the vessel to begin to fall apart. Although Alice briefly managed to appear before Yuri to tell him that she loved him, her vessel quickly disintegrated, thus terminating the resurrection attempt. Later on, after defeating a sorrowful Masaji Kato and preventing him from altering the course of history, Yuri chose to beat the Mistletoe's curse by ending his life before the curse destroyed his soul, which unexpectedly also sent him back in time to the Manchurian railway in 1913, the fateful day before he met Alice. Having seemingly retained his memories of the previous timeline, Yuri managed to obtain the Oath Grail and subsequently defeated the Four Masks. As a result, Yuri forced himself past the masks and interrupted Atman's ritual. Together, they managed to defeat Atman and break the curse, thus successfully saving Alice's life.
  • Alice was brought to the Pantheon by Yuri shortly after the two had arrived in Zurich, with Alice still alive and ready to embark on her new life with Yuri by her side. Alice was quickly greeted by her other friends and traveling companions Koudelka Iasant and Margarete Zelle, who were both quite happy to see her again. Alice was also very delighted to finally meet Edward J. Plunkett and Father James O'Flaherty, who had been on an earlier adventure with Koudelka, as well as Princess Anastasia, who up till then had only known of Alice through what Yuri had told her.
  • Alice became fast friends with Alice Liddell/Kingsleigh, with the two noting how they had much in common. The two occasionally get together to hold tea parties.
  • Alice is on very good terms with the various other White Mages in the Pantheon, such as Refia, Rosa Farrell, Aerith Gainsborough, Ophilia Clement, Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear, Estellise Sidos Heurassein, Beryl Benito, Cheria Barnes, Sakura Hoshidan, Elise Nohrian, and Celica A. Mercury, all of whom have expressed admiration for her kindheartedness and the immense power of her light class spells.
  • Being a kind hearted and strong willed wielder of light magic, Alice became fast friends with Sora, Riku, Kairi, Lea, Roxas, Xion, Ventus, Aqua, and Terra. They all quite enjoy hanging out together, and Alice regularly provides aid to them during their battles against the Heartless.
  • As a person of strong faith, Alice quickly managed to befriend other religious figures such as Rosette Christopher, Bro'dee Walker/Saint Walker, Erica Fontaine, Garterbelt, Father Karras, Father Merrin, Clarice di Lanza, and Elsa la Conti, with all of them being quite impressed by how her powerful light magic is fueled by her faith. She's also been known to help them with her skills as an exorcist if needed.
  • Due to her friendship with the friendly vampire Keith Valentine, Alice is on good terms with other good-aligned vampires like Arcueid Brunestud, Rachel Alucard, both versions of Castlevania's Alucard, Liam/Angel, Spike, Sorin Markov, and Karin Maaka.
  • Unsurprisingly, Alice quickly became allies with Cosmos and the GUAG as a whole, and regularly aids them in their battles against Melkor and the GUAE. Although she mainly serves as a healer, she's perfectly capable of engaging in combat, especially against enemies who are weak to light.
  • Being a devout christian, Alice was overjoyed to learn that several versions of God himself were in the Pantheon, and has been known to periodically pray to the Love that Moves the Stars, the Alpha and Omega, God who hangs out with Bob, the One Above All, and the Presence. She felt especially honored on the occasions that she actually got to personally meet and talk to the Alpha and Omega and the God who hangs out with Bob, both of whom very much approved of her friendliness and sympathized with her over her past hardships.
  • Her past experiences with the Four Masks resulted in Alice developing a strong dislike of evil masks such as Majora, Uka Uka, Jack of Blades, and SCP-035, and tends to keep an eye out for them in case they start causing trouble.
  • Having previously fought against eldritch beings, Alice's strong sanity allows her to routinely provide aid in battles against the likes of Cthulhu, The Eldrazi, Giygas, The Great Ones, The Old Gods, and Nyarlathotep. However, she's not much of a threat to any of them by herself, and usually tags along with Yuri and others to provide support instead.
  • Alice strongly opposes the various demon lords within the Pantheon, such as Dis, Mundus, Mephisto, Queen Sheba and the Demons of Inferno, the Beast, Sargeras, Fortinbras, Malebolgia, Satan the Divine Judge, Satan who lost Paradise, Demise, Ganondorf, and Ghirahim. They generally view her as a moderate threat, as her most powerful light spell is capable of inflicting a decent amount of damage on them. Out of all of them, Alice personally hates Mephisto the most due to what he did to Spider-Man and Mary Jane, and Mephisto himself is actually apprehensive about her, as her soul is so pure that it can hurt him even at a distance.
  • Alice also vehemently opposes evil gods and angels who desire to control humanity, such as YHVH and the GUAL, Yaldabaoth, Chuck Shurley, Jubileus and the Angels of Paradiso. She especially dislikes YHVH and Chuck, viewing them as twisted corruptions of the Christian God, with more similarities to the Meta-God that she had helped defeat.

[up] The text about Alice Kiddel, the Keyblade wielders, the GUAG/GUAE, the evil masks, her christianity, the friendship between her and vampires, and the last one all need an expansion besides 3 lines, they're quite generic and unremarkable as they are right now.

  • Allies:
  • Rivals:
  • Enemies:
  • Avoids: The House of Law and Justice (The Thief)
  • A long time ago a kingdom in the Middle East known as the Golden City lived in peace... But through a series of events involving a cobbler named Tack and a nameless Thief, the city's symbols of peace, the Three Golden Balls, were lost which according to legends signified the end of everything; it was not quite just a legend as at the same time the nefarious One-Eye set his sights on the City, wishing to raze it to the ground. Soon, Tack and the City's Princess, Yum-Yum went on a quest to find an army to fight against One-Eye as well as the treacherous Grand Vizier, Zigzag who sided with One-Eye so as to gain control of the Golden City's remains after his rampage; the Thief also tagged along for his own purposes. Eventually with nothing more than his wits and a tack, the Cobbler managed to defeat Zigzag and stop One-Eye, with the Thief unintentionally helping as well getting pardoned for his crimes and let go free. At the end of this story, Tack married Yum-Yum and everyone lived happily ever after... Until the Thief decided to steal the whole film at the end, that is.
  • After being detained by the authorities, the Thief reluctantly let go of the film he stole and thus everyone entered the Pantheon, even the once-deceased Mighty One-Eye. Things had to settle a bit until everyone was well-accustomed to their sub-temples made for each other but that was hardly something difficult to do. He's avoided the House of Law and Justice ever since, fearing further retribution for the crimes he's committed at large or will commit in the Pantheon, preferring to keep out of trouble for the time being as much as possible.
  • They have a certain resemblance to another cast of people whose story was told in a part of the Middle East: the cast of the story of Aladdin, the titular former street rat himself was quick to introduced Tack and his friends to his own friend group, he was also amused by the Thief, though thinks even he takes his thieving ways a bit too far compared to him. On a less amicable note, One-Eye and Zigzag had little good things to talk about with Jafar, mainly the latter as both sorcerers are vain, arrogant and treacherous and their desire to take over their kingdoms along with their knack for trickery and magic caused them to start a rivalry to see who can outperform the other at what they do best.
  • The Witch is quite a character that's unknown to most even in the Pantheon, she has met Yoda and other cryptic mentors as well during her time in the Pantheon. For the most part she stays hidden from sight and occasionally manifests as an orb of light to interact with visitors. Not much else is known about her, though some sources claim she is One-Eye's sister but none have confirmed that claim so far, and One-Eye himself claims that he has no idea who she is. Similarly to Yoda there's Oogway the Turtle, another cryptic mentor who takes subtle approaches to helping those who come for his wisdom and sees the Witch's ways as very appropriate for what she is sought for.
  • Exclusive to the Good Guys (and the Thief):
    • They had quite the adventure thwarting One-Eye and his attempts at destroying the Golden City and as a result of said adventure detest all conquerors and raiders. One of these was Shan-Yu, a Hun warlord who attacked China in what seemed to be the end goal of flat-out destroying it all, his similarities to One-Eye did not go unnoticed. Similarly, the equally destructive warlord, Lord Shen, earned their enmity for his conquering ways and brute force employment in addition to his much more threatening designs and arsenal compared to One-Eye.
    • Tack and Yum-Yum are a couple made up of a person born into royalty and another born into more humble beginnings, this got them a bit of comparisons with Aladdin and Jasmine though Aladdin was more akin to the Thief; as well as the other royal/non-royal born couple of Cinderella and Prince Charming, who are of the inverse gender compared to Tack and Yum-Yum but nonetheless like that they became an item despite the social barrier that would usually impede such a pair-up.
    • Their friendship with the Disney deities made them meet Sora and his friend Keyblade Wielders; Sora found their presence quite enjoyable given their similarities to many of the Disney characters he met in his journeys, as well as their bravery even in the face of severe dangers that they found on their quest, Sora has also learnt from them how big a threat One-Eye can be and have made him and Sora's allies be wary of the possibility of the cruel warlord coming in contact with the Heartless and getting a boost to his threat as a result.
    • The Thief gained some major foes in the Pantheon, particularly those equally apt in thievery and obsessed with money as he is; one of these notable foes was Omar Little, who became a rival of his, Little has much more justification than he does and has at times taken what the Thief steals through unjust means and has even terrified the usually fearless man through his scary demeanor and strong attitude. On a less intense sense there's the Highwayman who was a robber with quite the bigger repertoir of tricks but has since become less unhinged due to an accidental kill he made; however he does take on the Thief's challenges at times to prove his superior skills in the area, if only for fun.
    • The Thief isn't popular with highly-lawful deities who hate thieves of any kind, the Dark Judges were stand outs in this regard, as they deem all crimes that they consider to be crimes as equally bad and punishable with death, which has led to a few near-death experiences from their encounters; he's also ran afoul of the corrupt cop duo, C.R.A.S.H, who have tried to blackmail him into working by their rules with threat of death. Needless to say, the Thief haves all of the aforementioned law enforcers with a passion.
  • Exclusive to Zigzag:
    • Zigzag is a treacherous grand vizier whose goal was to eventually take the throne of the Golden City, marry Princess Yum-Yum whether she likes it or not, and rule unopposed; when he realized that subtlety was more trouble than it was worth even with the Golden Balls as bargaining chips he tried to join One-Eye's forces so he could take what he desired by force. These experiences all made him not only draw comparisons between himself and the evil grand vizier-turned-genie sorcerer Jafar as previously mentioned but also with the fictional version of Grigori Rasputin who was also an advisor that turned against his masters when he felt unappreciated, while Rasputin considers Zigzag a phony who's all talk, he is at least aware he can be somewhat dangerous if left unchecked.
    • Zigzag also had encounters with Yzma, formerly the advisor/mother figure to Kuzco, Emperor of Peru, who turned against her Emperor when she had enough of his mistreatment and tried to assassinate him through poisoning but due to her assistant Kronk's blunders it ended with Kuzco as a llama instead. Their rivalry is a mostly comedic one, with both goofy sorcerers trying their hardest to outdo the other with zany schemes.
    • While Zigzag once had loyalty to One-Eye, it was only a temporary one for his own ends, nowadays he mostly works on his own, a sentiment he further had once his formerly loyal pet, Phido, turned on him out of mistreatment. For the meantime he's somewhat found an ally in Waluigi, another Lean and Mean villain who's often underestimated and treated as a joke only to prove himself a real threat when he puts in the effort to be one, likewise their affinity with magic to some degree led to a bit of an alliance there to everyone's confusion.
    • Zigzag has taken to try and taming crocodiles/alligators in the Pantheon, as he was able to once in his services to One-Eye, but so far he's only mildly made Ramon the alligator not bite his hand off at first glance. Another tamer of beasts, Steve Irwin, is not fond of Zigzag himself due to his evil nature and crimes against his kingdom he committed by joining One-Eye, as well as his utterly abusive behavior to the beasts he tames. Other animal tamers were likewise not fond of Zigzag for that second aspect.
    • Stage magicians that aren't evil don't like Zigzag for his arrogance, cruelty and all aforementioned negative characteristics; one of these is Trixie Lulamoon, a unicorn mare who used to be extremely arrogant and overconfident about her skill with magic due to her success with magic shows and the like and almost endangered people as a result of her stunts and in retaliation for being exposed and getting into a grudge before finally turning nicer, she does not find Zigzag a good presence as do the rest of her friends and allies from her world, particularly Twilight Sparkle who personally dealt with Trixie in her worst days.
  • Exclusive to One-Eye:
    • One-Eye has a destructive approach to conquering and would rather raze things to the ground than truly rule them, even if he doesn't minds someone afterwards taking control of the lands he takes so as long as they swear loyalty to him. Due to this his list of allies was basically non-existent... Or it would have been had he not met the Mistress of Evil, Maleficent, who proposed an alliance with the warlock to take over several worlds which she is more than happy to let him ravage as he pleases; while he hardly thinks of her as little more than a useful acquaintance.
    • The warlock has a rivalry of fierce proportions with any he sees as copycats of his style of conquest, one of these warlocks was Fire Lord Ozai, the Emperor of the Fire Nation who sought to conquer his world by force, using his armies of firebenders to raze entire kingdoms to the ground without any pity or mercy. While Ozai has not much of a strong opinion on One-Eye, viewing the warlock as brutish and dumb, he nonetheless keeps an eye on him to make sure One-Eye does not turn into a threat later on. He's made enemies with Avatar Aang and all his allies as a result of his brutality and cruelty towards all that exists and his conquests driven by murderous actions
    • Oda Nobunaga is someone that One-Eye had challenged as a rival to his mighty army and threat, Nobunaga does view One-Eye as a concern subject given his actually powerful might and large army, though has mocked his defeat coming off a stray tack that made his machine disassemble into pieces before he was unceremoniously crushed by his harem of slaves in retaliation for their abuse at his hands, something One-Eye wasn't happy to hear getting parroted around.
    • Because of his similarities to Shan-Yun, the Disney deities all are wary of One-Eye, mostly Mulan and Mushu who personally had to fight the cruel Hun leader and bore witness to the aftermath of his atrocities on Chinese people; similarly the leader of the vikings of Berk, Hiccup had to deal with a destructive and sadistic monstrous warlord, Drago Bludvist who brutalized many villages and even killed his father with his army of dragons and nearly destroyed Berk, while he and Toothless don't regard One-Eye as much of a threat as their aforementioned enemy, they do remain wary of him learning to tame dragons with Zigzag's help, as they could increase the deadliness of his forces.

@wootzits: Since Yato is a God from Japan, maybe mention some of the other Japanese Gods like Amaterasu, Susano'o, and Izanami.

@Mattman: The Ninja Turtles had a crossover with The Power Rangers specifically the Original Rangers. April was even momentarily the Pink Ranger. Also there are The Masters of Spinjitzu that are in the same page. April has also allied with Batfamily in varies crossovers. On the subject of Elizabeth, she should be allies with King Arthur, also maybe mention some of the angles in Pantheon, like Michael or other in the Hall of Angels.

  • Opposed by: Elim Garak
  • Opposes: Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith
  • Conflicting Opinion: Anakin Skywalker
  • The galaxy is quite a vast place that would take millions of years at minimum to explore, but there is undeniability on intelligent life being out there. What happens though once those races meet? Will there be peace or war? More often than not, history's eras define themselves on the conflicts found throughout them. There was the Earth-Minbari War, the Telepath War, the Narm-Centauri War, and the First Shadow War are a few conflicts that pop up and many lives were, of course, lost due to them. However, as a symbol of peace, there is Babylon 5, the last of the Babylon stations. It is a place where races and peacefully interact with each other on both a personal and economic level. Of course, those same conflicts creep to the station but it still stood for peace between races until its destruction in the year 2281. Aside from Babylon 5's symbolic nature, the Interstellar Alliance (ISA) was born within its walls, with its initial management having strong ties to the station. There was John Sheridan who would serve as the first president to the ISA, Delenn the Wise who is Sheridan's wife and succeeding president, Emperor Mollari II who was initially an ambassador before ascending to the throne, and G'kar who would be a renowned spiritual leader to his people after serving as a rebellion leader and ambassador for the Narn Regime. Together, the four made up the Interstellar Alliance Advisory Board which represents the strongest planetary governments. Despite some... incidence that made this incarnation of the board dissolve and the members split to their separate ways, all members privately still respect each other thanks to their friendships prior. Back together again in the Pantheon, they all universally said that interplanetary squabbles are small in comparison to the conflicts the GUAG are facing. For that reason, they are joining up together for another war.
  • To give a brief history on their fates, much of it deeply roots itself in the Shadow War—a conflict between the First Ones (Vorlons and the Shadows) that took eons to end by their feet. Sheridan died nuking the Shadows' capital, living off borrowed time given by Lorien, the eldest of the First Ones. He would disappear alongside the last remaining First Ones in the galaxy and has a mystical legend surrounding himself as a result. His wife, Delenn would live much longer and after serving as president from her husband, went into seclusion. She would be known as Delenn the Wise far after her presumed death, disappearing off the universe similarly to her husband. Londo Mollari was manipulated by the Drakh, remaining followers of the Shadows for much of his life as emperor. He was able to put a stop to the Drakh parasite placed upon him by asking an arrived G'kar to kill him. G'kar himself had just returned to ISA space after traveling the universe as he considered his fame as a philosopher and activist on Narn too much. When straggling Mollari on his request, the Drakh parasite killed him as well. All four become historical figures remembered hundreds of years after their deaths, with their actions before and after the Second Shadow War and Earth Alliance Civil War being dramatized in the documentary Babylon 5 which many who watched it will tell people to see since it is so gripping. GUAE members figured out a good chunk of these four leaders' characters much better than they thought for tactical purposes but are unwilling to read the events that the documentary did not cover (due to not wanting to read). Additionally, a documentary on a ship that few remember was made as a companion piece but the production value was significantly diminished in comparison to the first one. Another retelling of their lives is also being developed as of this writing and it is questionable whether or not it will deviate from the events everyone knows about.
  • Their time is comparable to the universe where the United Federation of Planets dwells, specifically during the major conflict known as the Dominion War. There is a Space Station standing in the way of a villainous group who seeks to do pretty bad things to other species, which while similar on paper have incredibly different dynamics. Everything before the Interstellar Alliance was messy, needless to say with races constantly at each others' throats where it could all collapse. Even afterward, groups went on waging war with each other and the cynicality behind it all makes the good times sweet. The United Federation of Planets, however, may have issues with keeping things together but strives for a better future they envision through diplomacy, being highly more optimistic towards the future. Ironically though, that same optimism broke down very much after the Dominion War and they pedaled back on it as of late. Overall, both groups strive for the same goals of peace and would rather work together than be against each other as people would like to see more of it.
  • Considering their experiences with the dictator former Earth Alliance president William Morgan Clark, they do not think Palpatine highly as his pro-human stances are similar to Clark's push for anti-alien sentiments amongst the people of Earth. Except maybe Clark did less genocide than Sidious did with the Death Star and all that. They also do not like Frank Underwood either, considering much like Clark that Underwood did several shady tactics to reach his position which included the assassination of President Santiago.
  • None enjoy the controlling nature of Darkseid and Horde Prime, bringing up bad memories on how the advanced Vorlon Empire who presented themselves as allies to the then League of Nonaligned Worlds species only to slowly reveal that the Vorlons as a whole sought to forcefully guide species as to not be "corrupted" by the Shadows. Even if it means making their planet-destroying weapon to remove said corruption. It is agreed by the Interstellar Alliance Advisory Board that Darkseid and Horde Prime are worse than the Vorlons on that end because at least the Vorlons did not enslave people.
  • Elim Garak does not like the Interstellar Alliance prying on Cardassia's business. Having been put in a leadership position thereafter the Dominion War, it would take countless work to bring back Cardassia to a moniker of its former glory after losing a billion lives thanks to the Dominion deciding to firebomb the planet to quell the uprising of the Cardassians. Since Cardassia has to stand on its own two feet once again, The Federation offering to help rebuild will only make the Cardassians lose their pride. Garak also sees the Interstellar Alliance's offerings to help Cardassia as similar and wants nothing to do with them. Mollari understands Garak's sentiments more than anyone, as he too led the Centauri people to recover from a devastating attack and rejected the ones who helped lead to their current predicament.
  • Considering that the main foe that the Interstellar Alliance was built on fighting against aliens known as the Shadows, they maintain that the Heartless who are more feral and more widespread than the Shadows must never be put to use. For that reason, they do not think highly of Xehanort or any incarnations he had as they used the Heartless considerably for their universe-ending plans which all try to justify as much as they can. Vanitas though is more of a hindering enemy, as he goes around wreaking havoc across ship lanes that the Interstellar Alliance (and the Centauri government) uses For the Evulz according to himself. Due to their distrust in shadowy figures, they do not trust Anakin Skywalker regardless of how much he says he turned to the side of good. Granted, they are aware it makes them sound like the Vorlon with their beliefs that anything touched by Shadows must be eliminated but would rather hold even the smallest amount of distrust to be better safe than sorry.
  • One incident involving Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith involved an Alternate Universe Babylon 4 (Babylon 5's predecessor), which Rick pulled out of its universe to have it used as a second citadel where he would just fill it with hookers and druggies. Of course, it did not go as planned as tens of Shadow ships intercepted them across universes due to Babylon 4 essentially being made a hidden makeshift weapon. It nearly fell towards Mars but with the Interstellar Alliance's help, Rick was able to send Babylon 4 and the ships elsewhere... to the Babylon 4 universe's planet Septis where the Markab live on. Babylon 4 crashing to the surface killed the entire population of Septis and the Shadows won due to the Babylon 4 weapon being defunct. As such, there are wanted posters for Rick and Morty across the Interstellar Alliance space, and Ranger patrols are told to shoot on sight.
Morty: Oh shit! I don't want to be a wanted man again!
Rick: You get used to pissing off galactic governments, so don't worry too much about it.
  • What Sheridan, Delenn, Mollari, and G'kar can all agree on is the Dukat is probably the kind of guy who casts his lot with the Shadows or Clark's Earth Alliance or the Drakh. Considering that Dukat was the one who brokered with Cardassia to align with the Dominion and hightailed it out of there to try to summon what are demons to destroy the universe out of spite towards others. So it comes as no surprise that whatever remnants of the Shadows left, Dukat wants to scoop it up to appease his new gods. Dukat already went to the remains of Markab civilization and made promotional pictures, pretending that he singlehandedly took down an entire species by himself. Poor taste is the Understatement of the century. And yes, Delenn does acknowledge that her wise mentor who has passed is similarly named Dukhat.
  • They are good friends with the noblest incarnations of King Arthur thanks to a traumatized soldier named David MacIntyre who was the firer of the first shots that started the Earth-Minbari War. In a delusional state, he proclaimed himself as King Arthur and committed to doing "just acts" with a sword across Babylon 5, something he was surprisingly good at to the point MacIntyre aided the Narn Resistance against the Centauri occupation. Despite this, not even Mollari who is The Emperor does not hold it against the man because he was that charismatic. G'kar who had looked up the legend of King Arthur remarked how similar the romanticized attitude MacIntyre had was spot on. Impressed by the feats G'kar had done, Arthur Pendragon gave him the honorary title of Red Knight, something MacIntyre also gave. G'kar muses that both Arthur and MacIntyre also share similarly creative naming schemes.
  • They all connected with Westeros one way or another. Sheridan connects to those at The Wall as he shares their desire to be between civilization and destruction as he once did when captaining Babylon 5. Delenn being a Minbari of the religious caste speaks more on the philosopher side of Aemon Targaryen whom she finds wisdom at despite the man having his fair share of hiccups throughout his life. Mollari being the ruling monarch of the Centauri enjoys the company of the benevolent or hedonistic royalty members, but understandably does not like the insane royalty members or conspirators plotting behind the scenes. G'kar respects those who can revolutionize the corrupt medieval system from the inside, having progressive and peaceful ideals that benefits society such as Tyrion Lannister and Bran Stark.
  • Exclusive to Sheridan:
    • Sheridan is nicknamed Starkiller after the Earth-Minbari War with more negative connotations towards it than good. He earned this name from the Minbari after setting up nuclear mines and luring the Minbari ship Black Star towards it. This was seen as a cowardly tactic to the Minbari who despise such deceit within all manners, and they did not take it well when Sheridan was selected by Earth Alliance to replace Jeffrey Sinclair whom the Minbari kept a close eye on due to The Chosen One status. However, Sheridan impressed the Minbari in due time ranging from his leadership prowess when Babylon 5 declared independence to establishing the Earth Alliance. However, the Minbari were right on one thing with Sheridan was how the captain more than once used sneaky nukes as the solution. The Black Star was only the first, with Sheridan going on arming a transport ship he had with nuclear warheads to crash to the capital of the Shadows. Sheridan would eventually go as far as to get into a spacesuit and arm a nuclear device in the middle of a space battle. Needless to say, many call him John "Nuke 'em" Sheridan for a good reason. Sheridan himself does not enjoy using nukes or any form of violence as a solution but many times, his hand was forced to a corner that violence was the solution towards.
    • Similarly Commander Shepard, aliens of a higher power was given him prophetic visions. Specifically, it was the Vorlon ambassador Kosh who was the only helpful Vorlon that the Interstellar Alliance would know of (despite Kosh being extremely cryptic but all Vorlons share that trait). Kosh believed in Sheridan so much that Kosh transplanted a piece of his consciousness to Sheridan that remained there until what is presumed to be Sheridan's death, long after Kosh's physical body passed on. Sheridan can relate to Shepard who was given visions by Prothean technology, giving them hints of the history of the galaxy. Harbinger, however, sees a darker application to Sheridan's piece of Kosh, believing that those prophecies will predict the outcomes of future conflicts. Sheridan would like to point out though, Kosh stopped giving him visions a long time ago and he is very picky about what he wants to show.
    • Since he is a walking zombie for much of his life until he passed, Sheridan has a disturbing connection to Darth Sion in that regard for being the living undead. Sion wants Sheridan to consider delving into The Dark Side, seeing great potential in Sheridan if he does so. However, Sion forgot that Sheridan personally dealt with those who tried pushing others to embrace chaotic ideals. Sheridan, knowing he had no chance against the immortal Sith decided to do the most infamous of actions and blew him up with a salvo of missiles. Sion took a bit to get all the pieces back together and wondered how did he not see that action coming.
    • Sheridan, being a Farm Boy when he was growing up due to his former diplomat father connected with Clark Kent rather well, before even knowing the journalist was Superman. After a good hearty meal over dinner (thank goodness Delenn was not preparing the food), Sheridan and Clark started acting like old people regarding what their childhoods were like. Getting on the tractor and washing pickings were a lot of things they had to do as children. Afterward, Sheridan had been quite phased when seeing Clark help light a candle with his laser eyes.
Sheridan: I wish that super strength and flight was what I could do as a kid. It would be chores a helluva faster.
    • "If you're falling off a cliff, you may as well try to fly. You've got nothing to lose."
  • Exclusive to Delenn:
    • Although she was born Minbari, Delenn eventually used the Chrysalis Device to metamorphosis herself to be partially human. Although this earned scorn from both Minbari and humans, people slowly came to accept her change and has now renowned for her leadership across the Interstellar Alliance and the Rangers. Ironically, the Chrysalis Device belonged to Jeffrey Sinclair who went back in time to become Valen, her race's messiah as well as her ancestor. In her timeline, she used the Chrysalis Device first and then Sinclair used it when he went back in time but at the same time, Delenn inherited the Chrysalis Device from him, so those two events cannot mutually exist without each other.
    • Due to being raised under a religious caste, Delenn was raised to be extremely spiritual as dictated by Minbari society. That said though, she eventually became a strong military leader which broke the societal balance between the three Minbari castes once the Rangers became more prominent. This led to a Civil War between the warrior caste and religious caste which Delenn resolved by having the working caste be made to have the most political power. The Villager who worked their ass off on building their town appreciates that respect they ought to get. That said though, Delenn still leans towards her spiritual origins heavily regardless of her current commanding position. She was heavily invested in the history of the Jedi, a group of spiritual people who were also warriors. Though she does not have The Force herself, Delenn has been a major contributor in unraveling the history of the Jedi. Kreia who is keen on burying the Force does not like an outsider trying to dig up a past that she believes needs to be kept buried.
    • Esdeath and Delenn are like opposites yet find similarities with each other. They both care for those under them, have a sense of duty, and were leaders to their respective people. However, one wishes to end conflicts while the other wants to prolong them. One asks the weak to unite while the other takes glee in breaking the weak apart. Can you tell who is Delenn or Esdeath? Esdeath does not wish to kill Delenn but showcase that her sadistic evil methods are above the boringness of peace but Delenn countered her with one curt question
Delenn: Has your sanity completely dove into a goddamn black hole?
    • Minbari society highly respects "seekers", otherwise those who wander the universe searching to fulfill goals that take lifetimes to fulfill. One such "seeker" Delenn finds is Bro'dee Walker who seeks to spread hope by preaching to others. Having a simple goal of searching for something is one thing but searching to give hope to others is such an immeasurable and infinite goal, Delenn was surprised at how compassionate Walker still is when fallible people abandon such goals eventually. It makes her reminisce on her former assistant, Lennier whose tragic ending is a thing Delenn still finds regret for.
    • "All life is transitory, a dream. We all come together in the same place, at the end of time. If I don't see you again here, I will see you in a little while, in a place where no shadows fall."
  • Exclusive to Mollari:
    • Londo of House Mollari had an odd ascension to the throne, to say the least. From a mere delegation liaison to ambassador to Prime Minister to eventually taking the throne himself. His gaining such drastic power may make Londo look as if he had to do some pretty terrible things to reach the position he sits comfortably at. Needless to say, the Drakh made sure his becoming emperor was anything but comfortable and the steps taken were filled with niceties. Being a patriot of the highest degree, him eventually kickstarting an invasion of the Narn homeworld and incidentally being part of a coup that instated a Psychopathic Manchild who wanted to planet nuked as a sendoff to godhood. Londo considered his eventually poetic in a sense, mutually being killed by his closest friend who served as The Rival of him for so many years while his former protégé took his place to right his wrongs as the new emperor. To compensate for his past actions, Londo works closely with his allies that were on Babylon 5 in those vital years just like what he calls the good old days.
Londo: The drinks better fill me up or else things truly have gone down the drain.
    • Elaborating on his relationship with the disposed of Emperor Cartagia, it was a slow burn for Mollari to realize the guy was a complete nutjob. To be fair, much of the past emperors of the Centauri Republic fell on that same boat of expected "Holier Than Thou" attitude to the point of emperors being deified upon death. However, Mollari realized Cartagia was a different case when he was invited to see the emperor speaking to decapitated heads of assassinated political opponents in a dark room. So those like Joffrey Baratheon, Luca Blight, and Caligula (whom Cartagia was compared to) remind Mollari of that insane royal and pray to the gods who may or may not be real in his perspective do not be put back to those seats of power.
    • Londo has a very complicated perspective on love, to put it mildly. He believes that familial duty comes above such things as love, so future generations of Centauri ought to be happy with their Arranged Marriage is what he would say. It was not as marriage to him was a joyous event in his life as much of his now divorced wives were riding off his nobility, and he only remained married to one because he believes that wife's particularly bitchy attitude is a necessity as to not indulge himself too much within his status. Then again, even when he was still married to multiple spouses that he fell in love with a Centauri dancer and would state those were the only few times he truly enjoyed himself. And then the Shadows assassinated her to manipulate Mollari to be furious towards targets they framed up. So now when regarding "problematic" unions such as Lyanna Stark's and Viserys Targargyen's, Londo had one thing to say.
Londo: Bah! Screw it, just get the priest from whatever hellhole and get that ceremony over with.
    • Despite being an aristocrat, Londo does not lord his position over others. He thinks as a result of his upbringing, it is the nobility's duty to be more educated and intellectual above every other person. So when he sees people abusing their nobility status, he more offers a Tranquil Fury towards it since it is not like he is unfamiliar with that sort of behavior. Then you get psychos like Wild Hunt or the Crimson Court to which Londo Mollari had to be a bit squeamish to their crimes. He wondered if they lived in a place worse than medieval times to get those sorts of behaviors.
    • "Great Maker!"
  • Exclusive to G'kar:
    • G'kar (not his birth name but followed tradition by replacing it) is by all accounts an extremely complex person. Many of his followers would say that he is a wise person who has a ginormous vendetta against the Centauri occupiers who devastated the Narn numerous times. G'kar would say he was once filled with hate and still cannot forgive the Centauri especially for the public execution of his father whose only crime was spilling a drink on a noble. However, he learned to see individuals instead of actions, moving past such vendettas. By all accounts, that is what G'kar believes to have made him a wiser person than he was once beforehand because he does not want himself or people to continue the cycle of hatred. This earned him the admiration and friendship of Londo Mollari and eventually, the respect of the Centauri people themselves. Needless to say though, he does offer that Centauri is quite the brutal people when they want to, as seen with one of his eyes getting removed. He got used to the Eyepatch of Power that he had to wear when his replacement eye eventually got lost just because of the Rule of Cool as he would like to say.
    • Considers himself more of a writer than a philosopher. His famous Book of G'kar read and studied throughout the galaxy has his insights but is an unfinished draft that was published without his consent. All of his random thoughts that he had drawn out and even a damn coffee mug stain were left him, nothing having been refined. G'kar felt like though one thing he wrote that he is satisfied with was the Interstellar Alliance's Declaration of Principles which he worked himself to the bone to be satisfying. It was a fun process for him but got pooped out soon after. He confides with another experienced writer, Barton Fink on what to write next and Barton Fink then retorted to G'kar why ask the author who cannot come up with his ideas for suggestions. It was then G'kar had a flash of inspiration from their resulting conversation.
G'kar: I got it! A new work that will delight the public! It will be about a man named Professor D who...
    • Believe it or not, G'kar was at one point a leader of The Resistance against the Centauri who went to occupy his planet a second time. He even dragged one of Centauri's leaders to be mobbed to death by swarms of Narn for giving the order to drop several meteors onto populated cities. He sees a bit of himself in both Lelouch vi Britannia and Suzaku Kururugi on his past and current. Lelouch embodies the determination on seeing his enemies crushed, labeling them as all same for their crimes. Suzaku meanwhile acts upon belief in bringing change through a system, as force only brings needless misery for all. He cannot hate either of them for what they feel like and respect both young men for the ideals they carry.
    • G'kar believes the Red Comet has noble goals in freeing the Newtypes from control. Though the Narn do not have widespread psychics yet, G'kar sympathizes with the similar oppression that Newtypes face that is comparable to how psychic humans are treated by the Earth Alliance. That sucks for G'kar since he has psychic human friends. But, he is sure Char Aznable can get what he dreams of through diplomacy rather than reigning meteors down upon planets to accelerate human evolution. Never mind that is similar to what happened to his homeworld, but nobody would think to let Newtypes be independent if that happened. Plus, it was kind of rendered null when it turned out Newtypes did have rights as written in Laplace's Box, so the Red Comet's plan was counterintuitive to himself in the end. When pointed that out, Char immediately asked if G'kar can help him try "fixing" the reputation of the Newtypes which G'kar happily agreed to.
    • Considering the struggles for independence the Narn had, G'kar quite frankly pushes for the Geth to be acknowledged as a species despite being sentient artificial intelligence. He aptly states that if mindless molecules can be considered life, then conscious beings who display independence cannot be derided as not fitting the same arguments. Regardless, many anti-AI Pantheon members still refuse to see the points G'kar makes much to his dismay. The Narn turned his attention to having the Geth basically "prove" their benefits to the intergalactic stage through trading and innovation, both things that the Geth Hive Mind does not have accurate protocols for when it comes to interspecies relationships. Considering how the Narn's societal role was a benefactor of other races with needs for the longest time to reach prominence, G'kar made a good strategic call.
    • "It is said that the future is always born in pain. The history of war is the history of pain. If we are wise, what is born of that pain matures into the promise of a better world, because we learn that we can no longer afford the mistakes of the past."

So, the trope of Crazy Awesome appears to have been phased out, but we still have a Crazy-Awesome God in Insane Behavior in the form of Axe Cop. Not sure whether the procedure is to assign a new trope or remove the god?

If you build it, we will tear it down.

[up] Another one for Phil Connors; in the Phineas and Ferb finale, Dr. Doofenshmirtz creates the "Do-Overinator" in his latest scheme to defeat Perry the Platypus. However, the device ends up being used by Candice Flynn in her attempts to get her brothers, Phineas and Ferb, "busted" for their latest attempt in building something big, but life-risking. While the initial attempt is successful, the Do-Overinator ends up sending Candice and Doofenshmirtz back in a specific point of time over and over until it becomes clear that time itself is shrinking. The event leads Candice and Doofenshmirtz to quickly find a way to prevent time from crunching itself to non-existence, with Candice showcasing one of her infrequent moments of being a caring sister to her brothers as well as Doofenshmirtz finally giving up being evil after a pep-talk with his daughter, Vanessa.

Also, groundhogs end up getting sucked up in the event as well.

Well you made that suggestion too early because here is his second draft posting.

Feedback is appreciated.

Phil Connors, God of Time Loops

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/philconnors.png
  • Demigod
  • Theme: I Got You Babe
  • Symbol: The groundhog Punxatawney Phil, alternatively his face inside a bell clock.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Neutral with shades of Good after the loops.
  • Portfolio: A weatherman who has no remorse towards others, is way too full of himself, suddenly gains the ability to repeat Groundhog Day, and initially takes advantage of this through dating other women and doing criminal acts, until his sanity breaks down due to his endless loops, considered dying to break the loops and fails anyway, decides to have a change of heart after multiple tries and drops his hopelessness, with the time loop eventually breaking after winning the heart of his love life
  • Domains: Weather, Time Travel, Immortality, Values, Nihilism (and Anti-Nihilism)
  • Herald: Rita
  • Allies (or those who share similar happenings): Subaru Natsuki,
  • Good Counterpart to: Angela
  • Commonality Connection with: Ebenezer Scrooge
  • Enemies:
  • Groundhog Day, a celebratory day that occurs every February 2. Many would usually find it to be a joyous event but for weather reporter Phil Connors, that is not the case. With his new task of reporting the joyous day, it would seem that Phil is different from the crowd, that being a genuine douche that cared less about the celebration around him. On the same day however, a blizzard struck and he was forced to stay in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania for the night. Next day, he would go about his usual day, getting breakfast, watching the latest Jeopardy!, reporting for Groundhog D—, wait a second. It would seem that he did these things before he slept and after witnessing the same turn of events for a third and fourth time, did he realize that he is stuck in February 2. With this newfound power, he used it for his own wants, managed to date various women, eat as much as he wanted and even stole some money during the initial days of this time loop. But it was not until subsequent loops that he realized that he is bored and could not get out of this situation he is in, with his attempts at wooing Rita at a constant failure, a reflection of his boorish personality. Depressed, he would attempt ways to end this loop, first by killing himself in various ways, which did not work. When suicide was out of the question, he would try to help the local populace but it was not enough. Finally, after changing his outlook in life and accepting his love to Rita that finally freed him from the loop, ending what would have been years of insanity and with it, a changed man.
  • The news is an ever-changing paradigm, after all so many newly made information are discovered everyday. Phil's life was already going fine and dandy until reports of a new plane came about in his script, which weirded him out upon him saying it out loud live. Once he did that however, the background around him froze and his fears of another time loop were coming up in his head, that was when he arrived in a gold-decorated room with mysterious figures surrounding him with noises that had the word "ascension". He already had experiences with godhood (a god but not the God) so to him this would be not a new experience with him, sadly his experience with the constant looping of February 2 made him a prime candidate for Time Loops, a moment that while he remembers, is not all too fond with it. With news of him accepting the title, he would be granted godhood, this time in the Trope Pantheons.
  • Godhood in the Pantheons is usually thought as a paradise but for some of the usual demigods and quasideities, the normal people granted a place in the realm, they often assign themselves to certain roles. Phil took it upon himself to be the Pantheon's weatherman, reporting to everyone about the day's weather and such. While the House of Time and Space is his temple, he is present in either the House of Profession, continuing his work or the Hall of Weather to predict the next forecast. When asked why he would care for a job that can be easily discarded in favor of his position, he tells that he would rather have a purpose than have nothing. To him at the very least, the time loops have done some changes to him that is very different from his original personality, giving him a fresh look at life.
  • Time Loops are an unnatural occurrence since time usually goes forward, these loops essentially repeat a certain timeframe over and over. How and why Phil got himself into such a predicament is a mystery. Some guess that it was all in his mind while others thought some higher cosmic being got real tired of Phil being an asshole so it subjected him the loop. Another detail that has made some thinking was the amount of years he endured on the loop with guesses going as far as either two weeks, an entire decade (preferably 30-40 years) to about 10,000 years. Even he has no idea and lost count in the middle of all that. Nonetheless, this made him the Pantheon's go-to man when it comes to time looping and similar scenarios.
  • One of the first people to consult him was Subaru, who has gained a similar ability upon entering a new world and can return to a "checkpoint" before his death. Unfortunately for him, such ability is costly since it risks his death and others as well. Ironically, when both knew about their ability, they tried using it to their advantage but slowly realized it was a bad idea and both got punished. The fact that him and Subaru have maintained a somewhat calm posture after all that timey-wimey changes have surprised others to some degree though Phil is arguably the better man in regards to his attitude, except the teenager pointed out his issue of being committed after the loop. That being said, they had the better cases than the other unfortunate deities who had to go through the loops themselves.
    • Other deities who wished for consultation to Phil were far damaging in regards to their mental state either due awareness or some other factors. Both Yuki Nagato and Homura Akemi fit this bill and he has no idea how to approach them as there are too many factors that contributed to their loops whether it be a godlike entity or death. It really speaks to him when one of the most stoic members of the SOS Brigade somehow lost her sanity in comparison to him and his change from a once-hated man to a respectable one. Homura was even at a loss of words how he moved on from the inevitable death of one old man compared to her obsession with the remaining Magi. At one point, Tree Gelbman was found hurriedly banging on Phil's temple with fear on her face. Worried, he asked what happened to her and was shocked at her condition to be a repeated victim of a killer, on her birthday no less. Her hope to visit him is to found out how to get her out, sadly he even has no idea how to get her off.
    • If there was one time-based deity that would be considered an opposite to Phil, Angela would be that person. Her bio shows how she was an originally nice woman who endured from the repeated loops made by the corporation she was ordered to survey, however she was not free and was essentially bounded by a script to force her into a certain harsh mindset or else she repeats the entire thing from the start. If the comparisons between Angela and Phil are made, the key differences are freedom, as Phil had the chance to experience everything from hedonism, to nihilism and kindness while Angela had none of that, and the result. He changed into a better person while she could not move on from that mindset and has become her default state. She has found his case to be with jealousy as he had enough space to change himself and admits that had his conditions be implemented on her case, things would have turned so much better in the long run.
  • At one point, during the day of Christmas, a few children lead by his herald Rita pointed him to a house that accommodated the famous Scrooge. He was flabbergasted that he was lead to his temple, especially when the first greeting to him was he usual "Humbug!", until he heard his name and made him come in. There the two enjoyed a cup of tea and explained for his sudden change of mood. It was for the fact that the two of them are similar in their lives, how both of them were jackasses to others, until a few supernatural events occurred and made them change their ways. He wanted to meet him to also warn him of consequences that will occur after the loop, pertaining to him being non-commital. After a few hours, both Phil and Scrooge parted their ways with Phil saying that it was almost like talking to his own reflection.

@hamana Phil Conners should interact with Yoshikage Kira. People who've seen the last four episodes of DiU will know why.

I updated Stein's profile. How can I improve on this?

Dr. Franken Stein, God of Frankenstein homages

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/37595.jpg
  • Intermediate God
  • Potential House: Fictional Expies
  • Symbol: The screw in his head
  • Alignment: Chaotic Good, briefly Chaotic Evil in the anime under Medusa's control
  • Portfolio: The only 5 star meister in the DWMA and also a teacher, Creepy Good, completely lacking a tragic backstory to explain his attitude, excellent in various fighting styles, Token Evil Teammate, marries Marie and has a kid with her
  • Domains: Science, Insanity
  • Herald: Marie Mjolnir (his wife)
  • Allies: All of the good Soul Eater Gods, Jack Skellington, Kiritsugu Emiya & Irisviel von Einzbern, Fran Madaraki, Victor Frankenstein, Senku Ishigami
  • Enemies: Medusa Gorgon, Junkrat and Roadhog
  • Evil Counterparts: Lord Karl Heisenberg, Shou Tucker, Professor Hojo, Ryoma Sengoku, Relius Clover
  • Annoyed by: Excalibur
  • Respects: Smoker
  • Interested in: Frankenstein's Monster
  • Conflicted Opinion: the Bebop Crew
  • Feared by: Oogie Boogie, almost every sane person in the Pantheons
  • Within the DWMA, there's a teacher who surpassed all other students back when he was one himself. Dr. Franken Stein saw countless opportunities to experiment on others and dissect them for his own amusement, either with their consent, or if they're evil. That said, he's still pragmatic enough to kill his opponents quickly without making them suffer. His general appearance and mindset have allowed him to ascend as a homage to Dr. Frankenstein.
  • Upon entering the Pantheons, Stein was pleased to see many familiar faces from his series. Granted, he was pretty subdued about it, they could tell he happy. Spirit in particular is willing to lend a hand should he ever need a weapon to fight with (provided that he doesn't let his obsession with dissecting get the better of him). ** And that turned out to be good idea, since Medusa Gorgon is also here. Despite coming from the events of the manga, they can still remember how in the anime, Medusa took control of Stein. He vows to never let that happen again, for the sake of the younger generation. While he did make a comment about performing experiments on his own child, he was just kidding about the whole thing, while Medusa feels no guilt over her treatment of Crona, to everyone's disgust.
Stein: "Surprisingly enough, Excalibur can match with anyone. Anyone can match Soul Wavelengths just fine, but there's no one in the world who can match personal wavelengths with Excalibur.
  • Due to having to raise a child, Stein has decided to quit smoking, believing it to not be so cool anymore. Because of this, he's had to get into an argument with the Bebop Crew since they seem to think Smoking Is Cool. Spike and Faye are reluctant to comply with this, while Jet is far more understanding in this regard, since he has been willing to bend when this subject comes up. Another God that's known for smoking is Smoker. Since he can turn into smoke, he's a more complicated matter, but even he can just keep his distance if need be. It helps that he's one of the more stable and less hypocritical Marines in his world.
  • Stein managed to get along surprisingly well with Kiritsugu and Irisviel. The latter reminds him of his partner Marie since they're both loving people (though Marie can be a bit too willing to punch someone over her passions). Kiritsugu was also able to quit smoking for a time (presumably because of his daughter) and only went back during a war between Mages. That said, Stein and Kiritsugu can still show their dark sides to their opponents, revealing just how scary they can be (though Kiritsugu is a different kind of scary).
  • Over at the House of Celebration, Jack Skellington took note of how Stein was able to revive the meister Sid as a zombie. This fascinated him so much that he wanted him to participate in preparations for Halloween. Stein agreed, since he was given a chance to dissect Oogie Boogie to learn about what makes him tick. Oogie Boogie was horrified by this, and made a futile effort to run away. When he was revealed to be a literal bag of bugs, everyone was confused, but Stein took it upon himself to collect all of the bugs to study, wanting to learn how he was animated.
  • One of his more relatable interactions was with fellow Mad Scientist Fran Madaraki. They both have a desire to experiment one others, albeit for different reasons. Stein is motivated mostly For Science! despite being a hero, while Fran does it to help people without understanding how much her patients are in pain. She's also impressed at how he managed to resurrect Sid with only cosmetic differences.
  • As much as Stein loves to experiment and dissect, he's still a heroic person, through and through. The thought of someone using similar scientific skills for evil is enough to make him an enemy. Villainous scientists such Professor Hojo, Ryoma Sengoku, Relius Clover and Shou Tucker do not get along as well with him as they'd like to. Stein may be crazy, but he's utterly amoral like they are. Relius and Tucker in particular mistreated their wives and daughters beyond repair, something that even Stein is appalled by. That being said, he is interested in the fruits of their research, as a man of science. He's also not willing to ask nicely for them.
  • In one house, Stein noticed someone who once dressed like a typical Mad Scientist, along with his partner who donned a costume resembling Frankstein's monster. These two are commonly known as Junkrat and Roadhog, and dressed up for a special event where they acted differently. While this was what caught Stein's attention, he ultimately came to odds with them due to wanting to dissect them. Roadhog hates how cruel Stein can be when this side of him comes out, believing people like him are why he's so full of hate. Junkrat knows after "Going Legit" that he and Roadhog are Trapped in Villainy, so they might as well give it their all to try to kill Stein. Just as a fight was beginning to break out, Spirit arrived to back up Stein, under the condition that he doesn't go too far with his insanity. Stein reluctantly complies, seeing Spirit as a more valuable asset than whatever he could get out of the two villains.

Phil: Homura’s more questionable actions according to Word of Saint Paul are due to a exceptionally toxic combination of being tortured to insanity by Kyubey, severe PTSD (horrors of war related), and sketchy intel (a certain flower field conversation she had while being Locked Out of the Loop on the most important piece of information). The end result is a severely traumatized, suicidal, and remorseful teenager with demonic powers. Her time in the loop was eight years.

Rika Furude’s time loop hell lasted a century. She had to endure a century worth of witnessing her friends getting infected by a Hate Plague (implied to be spread by contamimated drinking water), go insane and murder each other along with herself being murdered in all sorts of awful ways. All at the young age of 11. Worse, she had to suffer such a fate twice (second time was about 1 year). So great was her trauma that it manifested as a sadistic Hope Crusher Enemy Without by the name of Bernkastel.

Counter argument regarding Leman Russ: Starship Troopers is not the Trope Namer for Space Marine (Lensman Series is). Starship Troopers and 40k are both Trope Codifer for it. 40k especially for the elite troops connotations.

@Hamana

More time loopers: William Cage was stuck in a time loop fighting against invading space aliens by being sent back to a specific period of time after dying. He exploits this by getting more skilled in fighting them through the loops. Rika Furude was also trapped in a time loop in which she was the only one aware of it happening and had to watch herself and her friends going mad and/or dying painfully.

  • Chinpokemon, Divine Franchise of Pokemon Imitators: proposed by General Gigan back when he was part of this forum. See here for reference. They were meant to parody the new(at the time) Pokemon mania by being clear Pokemon expies and it being Merchandise-Driven. In true South Park fashion, they brainwash kids into overthrowing the U.S
  • The Visitors, Celestial Aliens of Anal Probing: proposed by General Gigan back in the day. See here. The very first episode of South Park is "Cartman Gets An Anal Probe". They're grey aliens who anal probed Cartman and cameo in the background for a number of seasons. We eventually learn they anal probe people with cameras to monitor Earth, which turns out to be a TV show for other aliens to watch our wacky antics
  • Doctor Ryan Stone, Goddess of Space Isolation Horror: the film Gravity is entirely about this trope. She's the main character in a movie about the destruction of a satellite being destroyed, causing her and other astronauts to be left adrift in Earth's orbit. They desperately try to avoid the faster than bullets space debris and find a nearby satellite before all oxygen is used up. Sometimes we get a first person view to enhance the horror. Ultimately, she's the lone survivor

[up] I seem to recall Dramatic Space Drifting being an option for Ryan Stone (and I think Matt Kowalski was included with that idea before it was proposed now) a while back, even if it was only in a sandbox before being edited. Considering that the other option for Dramatic Space Drifting I recall looking over in sandboxes was SCP-1959 (and I could have sworn there was ideas for cutting down on the number of SCP profiles a while back that never really went into effect), I would prefer Dramatic Space Drifting for the Gravity idea.

I guess Space Isolation Horror could be used for Sam Bell of Moon or Mark Watney from The Martian, to add to what r-lock said.

[up] PhantomFire has Mark Watney as a possible idea for either "Nations of the World" Montage or Captain's Log. So I guess we can scoop up a win-win from here, so I guess I'll be leaning towards Sam Bell for Space Isolation Horror. Guess we'll see who adopts Mark from him as I do like both ideas.

@RJ - Yeah, I'll [tup] Ryan Stone for Dramatic Space Drifting, considering that what you've already used for your reasoning still largely applies for this trope as well.

We have made it to the very end...
