Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin (born Macaulay Carson Culkin, August 26, 1980) is an American actor and musician. He became famous as a child actor for his role as Kevin McCallister in the family comedy Home Alone (1990) and its sequel Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992). In Home Alone 4, he was replaced by Mike Weinberg. Culkin's younger brother, Kieran Culkin, is also seen in the first two films, as Kevin's younger cousin Fuller McCallister. However, he since reprised his role of Kevin in the web-series :DRYVRS and Home Alone Again with the Google Assistant.

The original concept of Home Alone 3 involved Kevin returning as a teenager. However, this idea was scrapped because Culkin temporarily quit acting three years earlier as he thought that he was outgrowing "childish" roles and he wanted to have a career rest break from Hollywood for a while to attend private high school called the Professional Children's School in Manhattan, in New York City, New York U.S. State, USA since he wanted a "normal lifestyle life". Instead Home Alone 3 stars Alex D. Linz as Alex Pruitt.

He later made a guest appearance in the Angry Video Game Nerd episode "Home Alone Games" as a pizza boy and himself. He has also been on RedLetterMedia as a frequent guest, appearing in multiple episodes of their Best of the Worst (choosing to watch Home Alone 4 in one appearance), re:View, and Half in the Bag webseries.

He is also known for his roles in Uncle Buck (1989), My Girl (1991), The Good Son (1993), the NYC Ballet's adaptation of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker (1993), Getting Even with Dad (1994), The Pagemaster (1994), Richie Rich (1994), Party Monster (2003), and the music video for Michael Jackson's "Black or White". At the height of his fame, he was regarded as the most successful child actor since Shirley Temple. Culkin ranked at number two on VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Kid-Stars" and E!'s list of the "50 Greatest Child Stars."

On November 15, 2023, he participated in the 7th quarterfinal game of the 2023-2024 Celebrity Jeopardy! tournament, competing against Rachel Dratch and Becky Lynch. He finished in second place, winning $30,000 for his charity, the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance.

On December 2, 2023, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with Catherine O'Hara showing up to support him.
