Awful! Awful! Made a reservation for 5 people including my twins. When we showed up with kids they said they are not allowed kids and apparently there is no reservation under my name (which I made 2 hours ago). Gentlemen never mentioned on the phone...that they are allowed kids when I was making reservations. That would me my last time there. Thank you for ruining birthday!!!!!!!More

We tried this place a few times for breakfast because there never was a wait to get in. Food was ok but the service was awful. Your waiter disappears. If you ask another waiter for something because your waiter is MIA, they look at you...like WTF. We put up with this only when we didn't want to wait at all the other great breakfast places in the area. The last straw was when we were taken to a high table which my husband and I do not like to sit at. When we asked the hostess to please sit us at one of the many open tables and booths she refused. She said that they were all reserved. She then sat us in the dark back area alone in front of where the band would play. On our way out of the restaurant my husband asked several of the couples now seated in the booths and at the tables if they had reservations. They ALL said NO. My husband then confronted the hostess who just smirked and never said a word. I left a message for the manager and a Yelp review. The manager never bothered to respond. Too many great restaurants in the area to waste my money here.More

What a surprising find! Everyone was so welcoming and team players for excellent service. The items we ordered to share were the burger, fries, blta pork belly lettuce wraps, Buffalo chicken sliders, Shishito peppers. We will be back often.

This being new has tons of potential! Unfortunately, my experience was far from great! I’m not one to give 1 star to my reviews but this one sadly did NOT earn more points on my book. I can start by first of all saying that...the service was far below standards of any restaurant I’ve ever been, cocktails and wine were taking over 30 minutes to be served, Food unfortunately was not arriving and several of my guest were very unhappy including one of my guests who was pregnant never received her food. Don’t mess with a pregnant woman because you don’t have a very happy ending! I had to deal with the whole situation and even after requesting several things they never were able to come out, our server apologize by saying that he had forgotten to put in the orders and had placed them on “hold” which absolutely makes no sense when you have a table and you need food and drinks, Water wasn’t even served which is the first thing you do when you’re serving a table! Last, after spending well over $400 I was not able to enjoy either the food nor the environment due to the fact that I was dealing with constant aggravation of my guest asking where their food and drinks were and the server was not effectively doing his job. I had the pleasure of enjoying a Moscow Mule and I can say that was done quite well. I take my visits to new establishments seriously and with the level of each place I visit I rate them accordingly. I hope that “The Country Club” is able to review and take matters into hand about their service. Had the best night at the country club with friends. The jazz band was sensational and the food was great. Let’s talk about the cocktails for a second though!! Wa wa wee wa!!!

The food!! I grabbed the wings, the ribeye and a couple margarita’s from the pretty girl Mattisyn!! Yummy!!! 10/10

This place has a great vibe and is about 7 mins cab ride from the Hilton Costa Mesa .. a wide menu choice .. good wine list and classy art deco supper club style booths .. classy , with a Saturday night out ambiance .....highly recommendedMore

Love this place and what they've done. I used to go to this same building when it was a local hangout "Pierce Street Annex". The new owners of this property did an outstanding job on totally redoing this space and made it much more upscale....Bartenders are so attentive, quick and enjoyable to watch as they had craft each cocktail to perfection! The owners spared no expense in transforming this location into a elegant restaurant and bar. Modern decor with a touch of tradition. Sleek long bar combined with comfy booths. Patio is designed for large groups to gather for cocktails and appetizers. It has a retractable...roof which is a nice feature. I went for happy hour and the food and prices were a great value. If you are tired of the same happy hour food served in most places, The Country Club offers a menu with a wide choice of appetizers.More

I was here for an event the other night and I just assumed that the booze and wine would be good but the food would be uninteresting bar grub. But the food was really good for the most part. Their steak tacos were the bomb...and their flatbreads and tomahawk steak were are first-rate.On the other hand, I had a bite of some sort of slider, which was not good at all (I still can't figure out what was in it). The place is fun, well set up, and the service is good. Expect loud place with lots of people and loud music. I was told it becomes a nightclub after 10 pm.More

We went for brunch and were blown away by the impeccable service and then the food. Portions are huge and everyone at our table found their dishes very tasty. It's a restaurant we look forward to going to again to try other items on the...menu. And I would recommend the Chilaquiles hands down. Daytime atmosphere and vibe are completely chill, so check it out and enjoy well-executed cuisine on 17th!More
