Blue Danube Coffee House

I have visited this cafe multiple times and was always impressed with their coffee. It tastes great and their macchiato is a really small one - which is how it is supposed to be.

One time, I had ordered the french toast and it was so delectable that I was able to finish it in one go - it had the crunchy texture due to the almonds and also the caramelised apples added a great flavor :)

It is definitely one of those quaint, calm cafes in Inner Richmond and I love spending time here. I would recommend sitting outside or near the window (which is my favorite spot), when the weather is good to enjoy some people watching (as it is right on clement street) !

I ordered an iced vanilla latte here. The cafe was cute, although oddly warm (won't fault the restaurant though since it's probably not regularly this way). I like that it closes late at around 7, so it's perfect for students looking for a place to study!

However, I didn't love the coffee. The flavoring wasn't mixed well despite using a stirrer several times. The separation posed issues when I was halfway done with the drink, and the drink became almost entirely vanilla syrup. I can't speak for their hot drinks, so maybe this issue is posed for my order specifically. Overall, it's a fine coffee shop, but I do think there are other options if the late closing time doesn't appeal to you.

So glad I found this place! I live near enough to Clement Street that it's on my way home to get some food but Asian food is not what I'm always in the mood for.

If this was my place I would do a couple of things differently: croutons are hard as a rock and could be made daily...Kalamata olives are way way way too salty and could be soaked/rinsed. Fair amount of avocado and tomato. Mixed greens are clean and a nice mix.
The music does not match this place at all. Very very ordinary pop music like you hear non-stop on YouTube. It would be so easy to find something more relaxing or original. Even jazz would match this place better. Oh geez I have to get out of here. Now it's a really annoying Indian rap style. I wonder who picked this music? I don't like it when a place picks music to motivate the staff instead of customers relaxing over coffee. Seriously, find something else.
I decided to try a cappuccino. The coffee beans they use are the worst...tastes as bad as Keurig pods.
The guy who makes the coffee drinks is so nice though.
Sounds like don't like this place but I do. It's called a coffee house so you would think they would offer quality coffee.
I'll be back for the salads but this cappuccino ummmm...no.

Quirky, cozy coffee shop with lots of vintage flair. We happened upon Blue Danube while visiting Inner Richmond and decided to stop in for lunch.

Seemingly popular stop for students and digital nomads. Around the time we got here (Friday afternoon), it was packed. We just barely grabbed a seat on the couch before even more people poured in. Service is fast, staff are friendly.

CALIFORNIA WRAP: The capers make this way too salty... And the sour cream (?) gushes out in a warm spurts in every bite. Textures are not great. Avocado is fine. IMO warm egg and cold lox do not go together. This would've been better with one or the other. I could only eat half. It does come with a small cup of fruit, some pieces room temperature...

THE HULK: Actually pretty refreshing! The orange juice & greens are fresh, blended well.

Restrooms are available for customers. Pretty clean and readily stocked with necessities.

One of my most frequented cafes - I love this place ! Great decor ,large menu with giant portions fairly priced. Excellent fast and friendly service. Great coffee -Delicious smoothies . Out door seating,dog friendly . Just a great spot . Very highly recommended.

Open cafe right by the Richmond farmers market (sundays). Unfortunately, it's $2 for 2hrs of wifi per device, so not an ideal study spot. But a great spot to chat, read, and relax!

Got the 12oz Cafe Au Lait ($3.75) and a Rosemary Chicken Sandwich Combo ($15.50). Au lait was perfect. Combo meal was packed w mixed greens, a vinaigrette, and the toasted sandwich had sweetly cooked onions.

Love this local coffee shop. Inside is like a vintage thrift store with antique mirrors and eclectic art. Has a lot of personality. It's a very cozy feel. They even serve your tea with a tea pot and cups. Great spot to do some work, have a coffee chat, or just takeout lunch. Menu is on the pricier side. They have some delicious smoothies and sandwiches though!

The rosemary chicken sandwich is insanely good. Veggies tasted so fresh, the chicken was tender and juicy. The creamy chipotle sauce really pulled it all together. Sides are included with your pick of salad or chips.

Drinks are not bad either. I got the purple rain which was basically a juice blend of berries. Was a refreshing sweet drink, would recommend!

Was recommended this place by a friend and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed! I ordered a turkey sandwich, and while it was good, it didn't blow me away! You order at the counter, they call out your number and then you get your food & seat yourself. Service was okay! They weren't mean but they weren't super friendly. The coffee was just okay as well.

Would I come again? Probably not.

Rain rain rain is back again for another run through the next few days :(. But finding a new place to have coffee is a great offset.
