Who Won The Amazing Race 35? The 2023 Finale Winner - Parade Skip to main content

Eight countries, 19 cities, and more than 23,000 miles. But that distance that the final three teams ran on The Amazing Race 35 doesn't represent the mental and emotional toll, navigating through booking airline travel, performing tasks from the blazing heat of India to the frigid waters of Ireland, and facing the return of the U-Turn. All they had left was one more jam-packed day in Seattle, featuring the surprising return of the "Scramble."

Who won The Amazing Race 35?

Greg Franklin and John Franklin – Brothers

Brothers Greg and John were the most dominant team of the season going into the finale, with a staggering four first-place finishes in a row. But the so-called "machines" faced an early breakdown when they struggled to ace the glassblowing task during the Scramble. But they were able to put on their programmer hats and debug to move forward. As a result, they aced the physical trapeze task and the final memory challenge, giving them one more first-place finish, and a million dollars to boot.

Who was eliminated on The Amazing Race 35 tonight?

Joel Strasser and Garrett Smith – Best friends

Best friends Joel and Garrett dealt with the most hardships out of the final three teams, navigating in the back of the pack a number of times. But one thing that neve changed, no matter how they did: Their positive, fun-loving demeanor. And throughout the final leg, it seemed like the underdogs would have their day, as Joel and Garrett were able to succeed where the other teams failed. But the two found themselves up a creek without the right kayak in the final memory challenge, where they faltered enough to lose the race.

Rob McArthur and Corey McArthur – Father and son

Rob was the first Deaf contestant on The Amazing Race in over ten seasons. But the father and son showed they were perhaps the most communicative on the entire race, consistently in sync. Even after a couple of stumbling points, they would always recover quickly, making them one of the strongest and most consistent teams in the race. Rob and Corey used their Seattle knowledge to try out a tactical path during the Scramble. But, ironically, they faced the most navigational difficulties, as crucially getting lost on the way to the memory challenge cost them the race.

Will The Amazing Race return for season 36?
