Ordered from here previously and it even came fast and in perfect condition, unsure who they used to courier though. Product was a pc tower.
Ordered a tv last Wednesday, did not turn up on date, rang up and spoke to a lovely lady but she didn't seem to have a clue where it had ended up, it had vanished. Swiftly she ordered a new one for next day (tomorrow, express delivery) so fingers crossed, have to wait and see what happens.

AWFUL WEBSITE

If you've always fancied appearing on the Crystal Maze or Mastermind, you can use this website instead to test whether you are a genius. APPALLING site, nothing works, you can't checkout (I'll be spending £300 with Argos instead...) Old addresses keep re-appearing once deleted, crashes on payment page.... the list is endless. Save yourself the hassle and just avoid them.

2week+ for a Broken refurbished item NOT NEW AS BOUGHT - Scrap yard quality products cheaper at the scrap yard

over 2weeks, and 4 days of so called deliveries, countless ignorance from there customer service team.....

Finally the proud owner of a BROKEN washing machine. Does NOT look new, looks like a REFURBISHED machine that they did not even put back together properly.......
At least put some effort into your scams Tesco

Do not ever buy from this company. Scrap yard quality products cheaper at the scrap yard

Tesco shame on you

Tesco shame on you. wanted to charge me 30 pence to put two jacket potatoes in so they didn’t get contaminated by other goods bleach etc etc shame on you filthy rich Tesco 69 year old spoken to by two staff like I was a c. T disgusting shameful disrespectful and youbeing so filthy rich your loosing respect for your valued customers

Alsolutly rubbish customer service

Alsolutly rubbish customer service. Ordered trampoline got email to say it was dispatched tues 7th. It is now 16th and still no sign of goods. Last bullsxxx answer from customer service item had lost label so courier could not deliver. Now looking at next week for delivery they are quick enough to take money and rhyme off same old rubbish at each phone call. DO NOT ORDER FROM TESCO DIRECT

Wish I'd never bothered

Wish I'd never bothered! Ordered 3 games as Christmas presents, what I thought was free delivery only to see delivery was split into 2 drops & I was charged £5.95! I only spotted this after I'd paid. I tried to cancel immediately within the 15 mins allowance time only for the Tesco website not to work effectively! Contacted customer services & they said I purchased from separate companies! I assumed I was buying from Tesco!
Misleading in the slightest. Hate to think how this would work if purchasing higher value items. Never again.
Now awaiting for one of the companies to confirm they've cancelled my order.

Worst Customer Service ever experienced

Ordered a Fridge freezer from Tesco Direct, suspect they were actually an agent for 3rd Party. During the delivery they damaged our floor dragging out the old one.
After months of communication, Tesco have denied responsibility since:
(a) We didn't report it until 3 days later having fruitlessly tried the delivery firm (and likely "real" supplier) first.
(b) A family member signed for the good condition of the new appliance. They took that to mean overall satisfaction.
For £50 more we could have bought from John Lewis who I suspect would have bent over backwards to come to an agreement.

Tesco Wine by the Case

Four promises of delivery: not one adhered to. Tesco don't seem to realise that using inferior couriers reflects very badly on them. They apologise and apologise but no wine shows up.
I clearly will not be buying wine from Tesco again and nor should anyone else until they have sorted themselves out.

Extremely poor

Extremely poor, Ive tried to place an order 7 times online and everytime it says ERROR on their website. Ive rang and wont take an order over the phone, They told me to clear cache and try Explorer, Tried another 6 times and ERROR ERROR ERROR, Tried ordering off my phone as last resort and still not worked. Well done tesco thats £800 you just lost.

cause genuine physical harm and refuse to engage

Tesco put LEAKING unbagged bleached based products which have not been ordered in to boxes containing unbagged fruit and vegetables Taking them out and cleaning the box resulted in burns to both of my arms and ruined fruit and vegetables.
They have ignored repeated calls and emails and obviously have no regard at all for customer safety.
They refused to engage on phone, text or email and continue to withdraw money from my account for delivery when I have expressly asked them to stop.
Appalling

awful checkout process

Yep, I have to agree with the majority of reviewers here who have given Tesco Direct one star - the website sucks. I tried to buy a laptop from them today. Ended up entering three credit card details and still couldn't get through the checkout. This was after going through the tedium of trying to login to an account I hadn't used since last year and having to reset the password twice.

I finally gave up, which means Tesco loses £500 on a sale they could have had if they bothered to sort their website out.

The worst online shopping experience to date in terms of a purely incompetent website. Terrible.

Beware their subcontracted courier XPO Logistics - awful

Ordered sofas for delivery Sat 8th Dec - did not turn up. They rearranged for Mon 10th Dec, again did not turn up. Rearranged for Thurs 13th Dec, guess what no show again. Rearranged for Sat 16th Dec, no show again despite another whole day wasted waiting for them.
Never ever again am I using Tesco Direct. The problem is their subcontracted courier XPO Logistics who don't really care and fob you off with excuses but don't bother to deliver.
Really poor customer service.

Obstructive, belligerent and dishonest

Ordered a bed for my daughter, 2 weeks later it hadnt been delivered and no communication. Chased via email, no reply in 48 hours. Chased on phone 2 days later got told it was out of stock. Had my money for 14 days and wouldn't provide an express clearance so I can get my daughter a bed this weekend.

Spoke to Customer services who were belligerent, obstructive and lied on several occasions.

Use at your own peril

Ordered item has been paid but received email few minutes after purchase has been confirmed that because of technical issuee they cancelling purchase and will get a refund...typically 3 to 5 working days????? W t F

Packaged in... a plastic Bag

Order- 4M6M6K8QC.

Items come 'packaged' in plastic bags. Who could know then that a gift then arrives completely second hand battered and 'opened'.

Beggars belief as did the apparent apathy when trying to highlight the issue... I mean, this is Tesco's stock, their money right?

I was advised Tesco inspect all packaging on return, therein lies the issue and frustration, there is and was none to inspect.

Too big to care maybe? I do know I wont order again as whats the point when competitors send in boxes or actually care.

Tesco please help ref 4kc4c8qyh, not funny anymore.

Follow on from my previous review a few weeks ago. Unbelievable, still waiting for my item to be delivered. This is after 3 promises that the item was ready to be delivered. Emails to say when delivery was, but no communication to say that delivery was cancelled, 3 days taken off work. Think tesco are blaming the courier white arrow. Today was told that the delivery is ready to be booked again. If any one from tesco reads this please HElP me. Ref no 4KC4C8QYH.

Have tried to do online shopping with…

Have tried to do online shopping with new Tesco club card sent to replace previous one but card rejected. Tried to use other cards but also rejected despite Tesco saying shop complete and will be delivered. Very very frustrated by poor service. Will probably shop elsewhere in the future

Great experience overall.

I've used Tesco direct several times now and it's usually been excellent. Latest purchase was a sofa, delivery was expected to be 6 weeks but came in 4 weeks. The delivery guys were friendly and professional. Overall a great experience. Only slight negative was when I called to ask some questions about the sofa before ordering, the lady was pretty clueless and game me alarmingly incorrect information. I had to work it out for myself and luckily didn't follow her advice otherwise the corner sofa would have been the wrong type (left hand facing). Saying that, in the past I've had good customer service when I have phoned up.

If only I had looked at this website before placing my order, as everything that has been posted is true.
Tesco Direct take no responsibility other than taking your money. I add my agreement with other reviews and say don’t use them!!
