To Wynter, Raine, family and friends, so very sorry for the loss of your dear Mum. I never met your Mum, but felt a connection being a Mum myself and a similar age.
I saw she never was happier than when she was talking about you both. She was a wonderfully warm, down to Earth, caring, intelligent lady, which I'm sure you know already, but I hope is still nice to hear.
I am sure I speak for other people too when I say she was a real inspiration to others with her humility, strength and honesty. Particularly about the mistakes she made in her life and the lessons she learnt from them. It takes real strength to do that.
Thank you Tawny, for sharing your life with us, and thank you Wynter and Raine too, for sharing your Mum with the rest of the world.
Take care of eachother. After the pain eventually lightens, (which you never think it will, but it does...eventually), all the special memories of your Mum will take its place.
I hope you don't mind a complete stranger saying all this, but as a Mum myself, I know she'd not want you to be sad and lost. Your Mum will always be a part of you.

Tawny & David were married in my back yard in Bel Air. She wore a white leather mini skirt in rock & roll fashion of the 80’s. She was beautiful & had a spirit of sheer joy. My sincere condolences to her daughters & family. May she Rest In Peace.

Growing up I was mesmerized by her in movies and videos. I wanted to be her. She was the inspiration for dyeing my long hair copper color and letting it go wild. A true beauty. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Forever the best video vixen. She was great in everything she did.

So extremely sad to hear about Tawny’s passing. We were really good friends in the 80’s and 90’s in San Diego. She was one of the sweetest and most generous people I’ve ever known. I will always remember the fun times we had together . We loved the beach and would put sun-in in our hair til it looked like straw to try to make it blonder. She was full of life and so special and beautiful inside and out. She will be missed tremendously . My love to her family.

Besides defining the 80's, Tawny always felt like something more. There was a preternatural sweetness about her that shown through her visage. Though I didn't know her, I still feel the loss.

What can I say other than I'm completely heartbroken. I have adored her since the 80's. I remember the first time I saw her on MTV, I immediately colored my hair and bought a black leather jacket, wore mini dresses etc. I wanted to be just like her. Over the years I watched her struggle and looked forward to every post she made daily as I knew she was ok. Tawny, you will be missed. I have cried for 3 days and just wish it was all a dream.
