Ter Stegen snubbed as La Liga unveil Player of the Month in January

Real Sociedad striker Alexander Sorloth has been named the Player of the Month in La Liga.

The Norwegian scored 3 goals in 4 games. The Basque side won 3 of those 4 matches last month.

The other nominees were Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Dani Parejo, Ivan Rakitic, Karim Benzema, Aitor Fernandez and Joselu.

Robert Lewandowski is the only Barca player to claim the prize so far this season. He has done it once, in October.
