Short Description:
Camping that isn't cramping. In our humble opinion, the industry’s standard definition of a 2 & 4 person tent footprint is too damn small. For Freecountry Camping, we think that’s cramping, not camping. We’re happy to introduce an upgrade to your standard room. Everyone needs plenty of elbow room and headspace, especially if you’re logging some tent time in the rain. Our Suite Dream series provides unprecedented roominess for you, your friends and all your stuff!

Suite Dream 2 Person Tent is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 2+person tent for car camping. The tent was super easy to set up, you can even find a vid on YouTube if you need assistance. There is lots of room for my wife, our beagle and myself. There is even enough room for our extra gear inside the tent. The specs say there are 2 vestibules but one is really small for maybe a pair of boots or 2 while the other is very roomy. The tent had several options for ventilation so we have not had any issues keeping comfortable. I am using the tent with the Eureka queen air mattress and 2 Eureka comfort sleeping bags. The sleep system is awesome. No slipping and sliding. The tent came with plenty of storage pockets but I also picked up the media center to add a little more storage. There are a ton of internal loops to clip gear to as well. The bag the tent came in is great with individual sections for the tent, the fly and pegs with guy lines to keep everything organized. The whole package is small enough for car camping but may be a little much for backpacking. We have gone on 2 trips so far and we are loving this tent system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up My 12 year old set up right out of the box in less than 15 minutes. Granted, he has quite a bit of camping experience, but nevertheless, that should demonstrate how easy it was to set up. The interior space was surprisingly big for a tent listed as a 2 person tent. I haven't used it on a trip yet, but have always been happy with Eureka tents and from the looks of this one I won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal Tent Eureka nailed it again with this tent. Strait to the point: - easy to setup - The offset ridge poles provide a crazy amount of headspace - Comfortable for two and a dream for one. Ok so I am typically a solo camper. I camp in the forest and mountains of Montana which requires a tent of strength, durability and absolutely waterproof. This tent is it. In the years I’ve been doing this, I’ve camped in Coleman tents, Ozark’s, MSR, Nemo’s, Wentzel’s a slew of military tents, and Eureka tents. You absolutely get what you pay for in a tent and the aforementioned all lived to their price point. Eureka however is the exception. For such an affordable tent the quality competes with higher end tents any day of the week. I have been caught in wind storms, rain storms, and heavy snow with absolutely no issues with Eureka and they perform flawlessly. This Suite Dream provided everything I wanted and needed in a tent and I’m surprised you don’t see them out more. It comes in a big bag which makes it nice for packing it away when car camping and I compress it with straps when I’m backpacking. The front is flat (see pic) with an oversized door. I didn’t think I would like this feature but actually I love it. It makes entry and exit a breeze without getting caught on the door. There is a ton of space on the inside and I easily fit a twin size mattress with plenty of room leftover for my day pack and other things. It has a cool accessory loft the hangs at the top that resembles a box rather than the traditional hammock style. I set my phone in it and watched a movie as I fell asleep. Convenient. The vestibule in the front is huge and has two windows (they do not open). When it was very buggy out (I don’t know what was up with the bugs this day), it was nice to have the tent door open completely but the vestibule closed. I got tons of airflow with no pests. The back of the tent looks like the front of most tents. One unique feature is that the back door is offset. This provides a bit more space on the inside. There’s isn’t a vestibule on the back door but the door does fold open for more airflow if needed. The ridgepoles are another cool feature as it opens more room at the top. The headspace in this tent is absolutely ridiculous! You don’t ever feel like you have to squat down all the time. Good design. The rainfly is thick and sturdy. When setup properly, it should be secured to the ridge poles at the front of the tent. Because it is heavy duty I recommend putting it on last before bed. It can get hot! If you’re like me and just like having the fly on, then open all the doors and the high/low air vent flaps. I will also admit that I’m petty when it comes to looks. I want a tent that looks good and looks like it’s all about business. Again Eureka got it right on. The red, gray and gold stands out and has a look of quality and flash. Overall at this price, the suite dream 2 will be hard to beat. From a Montana outdoorsman, I highly recommend this for solo or plus 1 camping spring through fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent! Just took my new Sweet Dream 2 out for my first camp trip of the season. It was easy to set up although the instructions could have used a picture or two (there are none). It seems sturdy and well thought out and was very comfortable. My only concern is how well the zippers hold up, but only time will tell.

will this work with a 75"x30" x17" cot?

Asked by: jeanie
Hi Jeanie, Thank you for your interest in the Suite Dream 2. The floor of this model is 7 ft x 5 ft with a height of 4 ft. This would work but it would be a really snug fit. For more spacious use with a cot, my recommendation would be one of our 4 person cabin style tents. The Jade Canyon or Desert Canyon 4 would work nice. I hope this helps.

What are the colors of this tent? In some photos, it appears to be yellow with an orange skirt; in others, the skirt appears to be pink.

What is the weight of the tent

Asked by: Thomas78th
The weight is listed on the Eureka website. It is considered too bulky and heavy for serious backpacking. It's not for the minimalist counting every ounce. It's built for spaciousness and comfort. The interior is taller than you need just to sleep in it. I'm 5'5", I can stand in it bending over and pull on my pants. We use it for camping off motorcycles. It's great for that. I was determined to find a tent designed so rain didn't run inside when we got in and out of it. The front vestibule is huge and the inner tent door is vertical, no rain comes in with me.

How well does this tent stand up in the rain?

Asked by: Diane
Hi Diane, Thank you for your interest in the Suite Dream 2! The Fly for this tent is pre-treated with a polyurethane coating, on the inside, for waterproofness and a DWR on the outside face of the fabric for water repellency. The seams come factory sealed for a dry camping experience. We do recommend the use of a floor saver for added water protection. This is a really great tent as when you are not in need of the full Fly protection, this doubles as an awning :)
