NO MASKS really angered me. We stopped on our way to airport, early morning. When given our breakfast, I asked our server and he said servers weren’t required to wear them. The owner is an awful individual. We brought our 17 month old daughter with us for lunch. We put our name on the list for a table and informed the restaurant host we had a 17 month old. They told us they didn’t have a...high chair available (which we thought was strange but not a big deal) but took our name and never said children were not allowed. We were seated at a table, drink order and food order taken by the server who again mentioned nothing of children not being allowed. Our 17 month old made a noise to signal she wanted water and was then quiet. Shortly after, a small, white haired older man (that we then found out was the owner) came to our table and asked if we needed him to get us something for our daughter to keep her quiet. His smug, passive aggressive tone caught us by surprise so we asked (now 25 minutes into our lunch) if we were allowed to have kids. He then, in another passive aggressive tone, told us he will not have anyone disrupting his dining. We decided to leave based on how uncomfortable we felt. Other patrons in the restaurant were shocked at how virtually a noiseless child caused such an uncomfortable situation and expressed this to us as we were leaving. Let me also be very clear, if the establishment decides to not allow children to their coffee shop, that is their choice and I do not have a problem with it. The issue is due to no one stating that having children in the restaurant was an issue. Tell us before we are seated and save everyone the trouble.More

Overall the food was very good and everything was fresh. Service was good. We especially liked the chicken salad, prime rib sandwich and the variety of coffees available. My reasons for a 4 rating instead of 5: -Cafe is too dark for a breakfast/lunch restaurant....It was very hard to read menu. -Although we purchased several beverages, when we asked for a glass of water with our meal we were told the only option for water is to purchase bottled water. -They ran out of the soup special around 12:15More

We visited on May 19th, just after the Covid-19 reopening. None of the staff were wearing masks. And shortly after we were seated, the hostess took a group of four on a tour to show off the remodeling and all five of them, unmasked. stood...next to our table for several minutes chatting about the redecorating process. Selfish!More

Awwwww, still here and thriving! We love, love this little place in a strip along San Carlos in Ft. Myers. Whenever we venture down we always come for a delicious breakfast which never disappoints! The place is cozy (but I do miss your funny sign...behind the counter, David🤣), and the food wonderful. The coffee is hot and fresh with a good variety of choices. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. All in all, so glad you are still here!More

Incredible service at this locally owned and operated business. Very friendly helpful staff who were eager to recommend their favorite dishes. Some of the best cornbread and corned beef hash I’ve had. Highly recommended

Was there with a girlfriend to have coffee. Owner, David, came up to us and asked to leave since we were only having coffee. I can understand that they were busy and needed the table for people who were going to eat. We then moved...over to the sitting area which consists of a couch and 3 high back chairs. We continued our visit and were still drinking coffee. David then came over to that area and asked us to leave again that we couldn't stay if we were only having coffee. I have never been so offended in my life. Will never go back no matter how good the food is there and I have been there a few other times to eat but this time we just wanted to have coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. Big mistake!!More

This is a wonderful little spot tucked into a strip mall in Fort Myers. The owner and his staff are charming,sweet, attentive. My husband and I went for brunch on Saturday, May 9th, our first outing in almost 2 months. We were very disappointed to find that none of the staff was wearing masks or gloves. We were told that the owner decided it was not necessary....In this era of highly communicable disease, this is a bad way to treat the public. This is out favorite brunch spot but it will be a long time before we return. By the way, they did some great remodeling while closed and they place looks great.More

We stopped in for a Saturday morning breakfast and were swiftly greeted by the friendly staff. The ambiance is very warm, homely and inviting. Cafe owner, David, and ALL of his staff were exceptionally attentive. The food was so clean and fresh with a great...presentation. This is a must try for anyone nearby or passing through. Really delicious iced coffee. Probably the best iced coffee I’ve had. Pleasant little area to sit outside. Brought water for dog. Friendly service.

Arrived at the plaza, to eat at different restaurant. Discovered this place w/ amazing and delicious food and an incredible welcoming and wonderful staff. Definitely worth coming out for. Highly Recommend!
