Online check-in begins 24 hours prior to departure. If you purchased EarlyBird Check-In®, your boarding position will be reserved for you. That said, in order to pass through the security checkpoint, you will need to retrieve your boarding pass online or at the airport at your convenience as early as 24 hours prior to scheduled departure.

To locate your confirmation number:

Any upcoming reservations associated with your Rapid Rewards^® account will appear when you log in to your account via the following platforms:

• desktop - Under “My upcoming trips”
• Southwest app - At the top of the screen
• mobile website - Under “My Trips”

The confirmation number for an upcoming reservation is displayed in green font when you click in to the reservation.

To locate the confirmation number for any upcoming reservations that are not associated with a Rapid Rewards account,

• Search your inbox for emails from southwestairlines@ifly.southwest.com
• Look for an email with a subject starting with “You’re going to...”
• The confirmation number is in the subject line of the email and in the body of the email in green font.
