Just did some math. Assuming satchel charges will keep the damage shown in this video, using them will cost 800 gunpowder on a sheet door/hatch, 2000 gunpowder to go through a stone wall, and 2800 for a high external stone wall. With c4 it costs 1375 for a sheet door/hatch, 2750 for a stone wall, and 4,125 for a high external stone wall. I'm really glad Facepunch is adding in a mid tier raiding tool, but at the moment it seems faster to craft and much cheaper in a lot of cases. At the moment it seems to be better than c4 except for the fact it will take up more space and more of a hassle to apply to something.

Helk reduced the cost of c4 by 20% so it should be 1100 gunpowder for each one making it more cheaper, he also increased the cost of beancans slightly, so the math I just did there is out of date.

Not true. Only 20% less sulfer is needed.

Great video. Short and straight to the point with slick overlays. Very nice job!

Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated.

I really like how you need a stash to craft, sounds strange but I like it.

u/Katut avatar

Same, makes sense though seeing as it is in a stash. Thanks for checking out my video! :)

Of course! It's excellent compared to other videos with a 10 second intro filled with fluff. Yours is simple, snappy and straight to the point, if you did separate videos on beancans, F1s, rockets, etc. you would get a very good amount of views. I'm considering doing this myself but seems you have the first step down

Thank you very much for the feedback, it is great to hear what others think. I think a grenade video is a good idea seeing as they have changed them a bit in the newest update, and I dont even know the answer myself after 2000+ hours! Keep an eye on my channel if you want to see it :D
