Steven Waddington (born 30 December 1967; Leeds, England) is the English actor who plays Marshal Thomas Redwick in SKY's Jamestown.

He is known for his roles as Duncan Heyward in The Last of the Mohicans (1992), Duke of Buckingham in The Tudors (2007) and Superintendent Smith in The Imitation Game (2014).

Career[]

Steven began acting in school plays and had his debut in several Yorkshire Television productions, among them Emmerdale Farm and Eighteen Desperate Hours, sometimes as an extra and sometimes with a few lines of dialogue. He graduated from East 15 Acting School in Loughton in 1989 and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. He debuted in cinema in 1991 with the role of Edward II in the film with the same name. Ever since he has landed main and secondary roles in many films such as Bartolome in 1492: Conquest of Paradise (1992), Ralph Partridge in Carrington (1995) Killian in Sleepy Hollow (1999), Grandmaster Torroja in Arn: Tempelriddaren (2007) Ronny in The Hunters (2011) DC Nathan Miller in The Sweeney (2012) and Thierry Duras in A Little Chaos (2014). He had his first role on television as Murray Ritchie in 1992 in the TV Series Screen One. He has succeed in starring in several TV series with roles such as Neville in Resort to Murder (1995), Sir Wilfred of Ivanhoe in Ivanhoe (1997), Tony Bradley in Vital Signs (2006),  Adam Fleet in Waterloo Road (2010), Second Officer Lightoller in Titanic (2012), Steve in The Syndicate (2013),  Aiken in Halo: Nightfall (2014) and Cossa in Medici: Masters of Florence (2016).
